Watched The Mummy (Cruise). I really like the movie and it has good if not exceptional 3D, (mostly depth). If you want to watch a bad Mummy movie try American Mummy a real stinker. Recommended.

Edit: oh yeah, the girls are hot! And a nice Atmos track no remuxing required!

Some of the complaints about the switch focus on pop culture references being added in. I can't say for certain if that would bother me as the MCU has given me a pretty high tolerance for that, and Disney has been peppering us in kids' films with anachronistic pop culture quips since Aladdin, if not before.

Escape from Planet Earth was a decent Harvey W 3D film, so now my curiosity is piqued about the split decision on which version is the best...though is only the non-US version in 3D?
Hi Just,

I think there is a Hong Kong version that is region A, also including English audio. I agree, do not like watered down versions for US audiences.

Hi Okie

The 3D on American Mummy is worth paying for a cheap copy. How are your French lessons coming?

Hi Okie

Let's not tell Mrs. Okie or you might become an "American Mummy" quicker than you think.

Just watched "3D Town: a Look into Littleton & New Hampshire Seasons ".

Excellent 3D and color saturation with just an occasional ghosting. The New Hampshire Seasons contains some of the best pop outs I've ever seen

Interesting tidbits about small-town America with beautiful visuals. Will admit some might enjoy the subject matter more than others but nevertheless, for the avid 3D collector this is highly recommended.

A TURTLE’S TALE (British voice cast) is in my top five 3D movies of all time. Absolutely charming and adorable, and the 3D is hands down the strongest I’ve ever seen, and brilliantly implemented. (THUNDER AND) THE HOUSE OF MAGIC is right up there too. A TURTLE’S TALE 2 also has some of the strongest and most brilliantly implemented 3D I’ve ever seen; I don’t like it quite as much storywise or voice-cast-wise, but it’s still super fun and well worth picking up. THE SON OF BIGFOOT and BIGFOOT FAMILY are also excellent, with yet more strong and brilliantly implemented 3D and good stories and voice casts. nWave had a damn good run there for a while. Such wonderful treasures they created.

Rewatched Julia X, a family friendly, romantic comedy. Some very good 3D, highly recommended.

Edit: correction excellent 3D!

If your family name is Manson or maybe even Munster, then I totally agree

BTW looking at your signature reminds me of an old 5 disc DVD changer I used to have which was very similar to the one shown below

My Pioneer 301 disc changer still works, they don’t make them like that anymore, about 30 years old!

No they don't. Mine was built like a tank and was my very first 5.1 system.
