Apparently streaming's problem is not enough censorship...

That lady is what’s wrong with society. Not happy to have her own principles, she wants to ram them down the throat of others.

There are enough ‘family friendly’ services.

There probably even parental controls in Netflix that would make it work for her too.

She thinks because she has children, we should all bend to her will. **** you, that’s my message to her.

Sounds familiar - someone taking it upon herself to decide what is or isn't suitable for us viewers to watch.......seems a lot like the modern day Mary Whitehouse.

Absolutely. Netflix is a global streaming service. Why doesn’t she campaign for a unique streaming service that only offers PG Or U content?
Why does she think she can dictate to the rest of us how we watch?

It's incredible really how someone can self-appoint themselves to try and dictate what we can see. Why they can't just switch over and watch something else if they don't like it is beyond me. Perhaps I should start my own petition....to get soaps, reality and makeover shows banned - after all I don't like them, so I don't see why anybody else should be allowed to watch them.

Exactly! Love Island is utter trash but I just don’t watch it. (Having sampled one episode)

Never seen that mate, but I have caught trailers of it. ITV have really gone down the pan in the past decade (or more) with the complete and utter garbage they fill their schedules with, and they are probably the worst broadcaster for this kind of stuff - hard to believe it's the same ITV which made some cracking programmes in the 70's/80's.

Haven’t they just. Having said that, all broadcast has. C4 still gets some decent docs, but that’s about it.

That's true. The BBC's isn't that far behind, especially their daytime schedules. And they even have the cheek to charge Ł157 a year for it!

Last thing I watched on C4 was SAS: Who Dares Wins back in April.

In Netflix you can set Maturity Rating from TV-Y to NC-17. There are 7 other settings in between. Netflix has a Kids Profile. They also have: Don't show specific titles for this profile regardless of Maturity Rating.

It would appear that one has very good control over what content they want to view.

I did not even know you can do it yourself.

3) did you really need to wait until this comment to realize his posts on PQ (just to be specific) have no value?

But that would imply knowing what you are doing and knowing what your kids watch.

Way easier to just complain.

Is it? Is it easier for someone to get Netflix to remove the movies that offend them instead of simply blocking them on their account?
