nah only takes about 30- 40 minutes plus we cant play MP over here in the UK just yet as the games not out until Friday

its definately worth doing the KZ Home challenges because as you rank up in KZ unlock points start becoming hard to come by

This is what worries me about the revamped pre-order system at Best Buy, i.e. there's no way to know how or if I'll receive any of the pre-order bonuses on any given title, now that they've done away with the checkout cases in-store. Took me about 40 minutes just getting all the crates, for the "assist" option. There's no way someone could do all the assist tasks, as well as beating all the Waves, and then all the challenges following, in 30 to 40 minutes.
But yeah, if the games not there until Friday, and you have nothing else to play, then go for it.

The only reason I made myself stick with it, was because I had already wasted 30 to 40 minutes collecting boxes, and finishing 2/3 challenges for all the waves. Finally finished it this weekend.

the assist crates appear every 30 seconds i finished all the challenges in about 30-40 minutes

Checkpoints are pretty fair so far, should make the Elite playthrough bearable.

Aren't there less checkpoints in KZ2's Elite mode? I thought I remember being pissed about that (as well as Uncharted in Crushing)

I couldn't tell, it's been too long since my Veteran run in Killzone 2.

I'm pretty sure the check points are the same in Uncharted, regardless of difficulty.. I could be wrong but they are still very close together on crushing even if not as close as the easier settings.

I can confirm this is not true, the final chapel scene gave me hell because of the fewer checkpoints.

On the boat? ok, I'll fire it up again tonight to see. It is a really short level to begin with. I actually would have been fine with even less check points in the game, they are very frequent.

Ok, back on topic. I can't really remember how it was for KZ2, I just remember the last level being a major pain in the ass and I had to lower the difficulty to finish the boss.
