Little reality check here...that club will never see the success it's had for the last 2 decades ever again, mark my words.

Ferguson was and will always be irreplaceable, Moyes lasting months in the job has proved that.

They can put whoever they want in the hot seat...past successes won't ever be repeated like that again.
Agreed.

I'm sure fans all over the world believe their respected clubs are "set up very well" with debt.

As long as the Glazer clan remain there, the debt will just continue to rise.

It sickens me how teams such as Man Utd, Barcelona, Real Madrid etc, despite being hundreds of millions of pounds in debt, can still go out and spend £30 - £40 million here and there on whoever they want, and happily pay out hundreds of thousands of pounds a week in wages.

This is why FFP is an absolute joke, and furthur more, for clubs outside the top flight is completely unworkable.

But Utd's debt is being reduced every year and if it hadn't been for the world wide financial crash,it would have been a lot less.

The big clubs can afford it,that's the simple fact, they're turnover is huge, transfers and wages are just a part of the overall financial incomings and outgoings.

The Glazers for all their bad press are very good at striking new partnerships and getting Utd more millions in all sorts of deals world wide.

The only way big clubs are going to learn, is when the Bubble bursts, and when that time comes, it will be to late.

The world of Football as we know it is no longer about "The Beauitful Game", it's only about one thing...money.

FIFA are an absolute joke, because they have rules and guidelines supposedly "set in stone", yet when clubs such as Man City and PSG are found to have broken Financial Rules, they get hit with a so called HUGE fine, which we all know is loose change to their respected owners, and their Champions League Squads slightly cut. They do not care for lower league clubs whatsoever...and it's those lower league clubs that really matter...becaus they are the one's who will suffer the most because, as I pointed out in my last post....FFP as it is, for lower league clubs is completely and utterly unworkable.

I agree with most of that but not sure the bubble will burst for the big clubs,it's the ones lower down who will probably suffer,it goes back to my point about the FA cup,as you say,it's more about the money now and staying in the PL is more important than winning a cup, maybe not to all the fans but the running of the club in general.

The fines handed out were a joke, steedeel and me mentioned on here previously.

The game has well and truely changed but that's the way it is now....what do ya do?

Strange way to go about getting a big pay rise or looking to move back to Barca or PSG/Monaco.

Agreed. It's obvious that his agent is thinking up all sorts of things to push through a move back to Barcelona.

On the subject of Barca, I would imagine, after the season that Toure has had, that they are kicking themselves for letting him go in the first place.

The rumours about his future at City have been going on for a good while now.
