My very first post in this thread on May 24, 2015:

I almost pulled the trigger on Maleficent today, but I just couldn't. Not sure I can justify the prices on these things.

Since then, I have accumulated eleven figures with a twelfth figure on preorder. And this little gem arrived in the mail today in immaculate condition.

That will all be revealed in Maleficent 2 that she is actually a man!

Dang, that really does show up prominiently, ugh.

I didn't know how else to put her on the stand. It's going up her dress and supporting her legs.

I would fix it, but the gown train was a nightmare to get snapped in on the back of the dress. I spent damn near 30 minutes doing that. It unsnaps very easily, and if I try to mess with it now, it'll fall off.

disappointed with the new Drax figure, he's such a funny character in the new film, so why have they given him a dead pan expression when they've done some great work with harley and joker from suicide squad?

Is there any way to make the gown flow outward in the front so it's not resting on the support stand? If not, maybe hunt down a different style of stand?

Because this is from first film? Drax has been loooong delayed! He is MMS 355 . Starlord from Vol.2 is MMS 420/1. Look at the promo shots of Drax show him with the figures from the first film.

Same thing happened with Loki. There was a page in a Hot Toys catalogue (at least I think that is what it was) showing Odin, Loki from the 1st Thor film & rescue Captain America from First Avenger. Loki & Rescue Cap never got released as regular figures along with the rest. Rescue Cap became a Toy Fair exclusive ()Still one of the best versions IMO & HT waited until the Avengers film to gain maxim publicity & release an improved Loki

This is what they have done with Drax: wait until the film comes out

The Drax body HT used is totally off, it's super scrawny compared to how he looks on screen.

Got an email to say Leia has been pushed back to April 2018, which is fine as I've got the Arkham Batman coming in January - need to keep them spread out to afford them!

I'll be getting this one as well. Hot Toys does a much better head sculpt than Sideshow. My other HT Leia makes my SS Leia look like the Hasbro Leia from the 90s, lol.

I don't know how many people will agree with me, but don't let their name misguide you - Hot Toys' products are NOT toys!!! Well, maybe apart from cosbabys

These are not cheap, nor are meant to be played with on a daily basis for your average, non-rich collector. IMO

I ordered that Baby Groot an hour after I saw GOTG2. Loved the movie, Baby Groot, and the figure. Can't wait to pose him around my cave. He was hilarious.

I don't own any 1/6 figures from POTC, so this will be my first. I think it looks fantastic, especially that base and partial rooted hair.
