With the exceptions of Roosevelt Field and SmithHaven Mall, all Long Island, New York mall will last be open for business from this year to 2029.

This will start with Sunrise Mall in Massapequa Park. This mall and the former Sears in Hicksville across from the ill fated Broadway Mall will be replaced by affordable housing apartments starting in 2025.

All other Long Island malls besides the two mentioned in the first paragraph will also be replaced by affordable housing apartment. Roosevelt Field and SmithHaven Mall are the only Long Island malls that are still busy as f*ck. They’ll continue to be around for a long time.

All other Long Island malls are graveyards. That’s why they have no more than five years left. The Hicksville Sears was last open in 2014.

Definitely gone warmer since late last week. Breezy this past Saturday (Storm Isha affected the UK this past weekend into today). Here, it was very windy with rain (heavy at times) for most of Sunday. Today hasn't been as bad, but still windy with rain at times (sometimes heavy). Tonight, things have calmed down (mild tonight).

Macy’s is expected to go out of business sometime from 2028 to 2038. JCPenney’s is expected to do the same sometime from 2027 to 2037 and Kohl’s from 2027 to 2042.

Barney’s New York went out of business in 2020. Saks Fifth Avenue is expected to close all of its doors sometime from 2027 to 2037. Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom are expected to go under sometime from 2031 to 2041.

Bergdorf Goodman went under in 2017. All privately owned high end clothing and shoe stores with prices like that of clothing and shoe brands that are bespoke, are also expected to cease to exist no later than 2050.

All of these store are graveyards.

High end brands like Joseph Abboud and Allen Edmonds will stick around for a long time. Their prices are well below that of the brands of clothing and shoes that are bespoke, like those in the Jermyn Street (Saint James’s) and Savile Row (Mayfair) vicinities in London England.

Bespoke is the overseas word for clothing and shoes that are custom or made from scratch. Half of the products from these clothing and shoe brands will have to be casual and half of them formal in order for them to survive and continue to thrive.

And those particular specialty brands will eventually only have main locations in Europe and Japan with some secondary locations in foreign countries that they serve and half brick and mortar and half virtual service.

Everything in the second paragraph eliminates the need for the workers of these brands still traveling to foreign countries, even by personal requests. Everything in this and the second paragraphs is all to serve foreign customers that they all already serve or will all eventually serve in the future (inevitably so) as best as they can.

These bespoke brands all also have domestic customers. These brands’ workers can also serve domestic customers the best that they can with everything in the second and third paragraphs.

It's a bit rich when a troll or someone who is troll-like talks down to someone, lecturing them and basically giving them a telling-off, like they're on some mighty, high perch. I worry sometimes if I haven't worded a post properly and if I haven't explained myself properly. This one particular explanation was picked at late last week, going into this past Saturday (I've said the same thing before and it wasn't confusing).

If someone uses an exclamation mark, I find it difficult to interpret it when it's part of something being said in word form, compared to in-person. It could be seen as a sign of enthusiasm, but it can also be a form of shouting. I felt like I needed to reply to the reply by the other member. But when a troll or someone who is troll-like decides to interfere and tells me off, when I didn't deserve it (and I am respectful to label or distributor representatives), I take offence and it as an attack on my character.

This run-in aside, things have been positive elsewhere. I'm not wasting my time having my mind dwell on negatives as it's not worth it (and it's not worth it replying to the troll or troll-like member).

Nearly a couple of years ago, I saw In the Heat of the Night for the first time (at a one-off cinema screening). Excellent I thought (don't have a 4K set-up. I hope to get sometime this year Criterion's US Blu-ray release).

I would get the Kino release as it includes both the 4K & Blu-ray. That way you’ll be all set for when you do go 4k.

Every business that I mentioned that did or will go out of business closed or will close their doors forever on New Year’s Eve. Another sunk business in more recent times is the A&P Franchise, Pathmark, Waldbaum’s and their exclusive America’s Choice brand, all in 2015.

Following on from the above, I thought the windy weather was forecast to end after this past Sunday night into yesterday. Windy conditions on-and-off tonight.

I've had to double and re-double check this as I'm starting to doubt myself, what I'd read before on the Blu-ray.com listing page for Kino's 4K Blu-ray/Blu-ray combo pack release of In the Heat of the Night (including the Blu-ray.com review). I've checked out the Criterion US Blu-ray release before (have got Kino's double feature Blu-ray of the two sequels). It appears that the Blu-ray disc in KL's combo pack release doesn't have In the Heat of the Night on it. Also, it appears there are exclusive extras on Criterion's US Blu-ray release.

As long as I'm able to play Region 1 DVDs (older television series) and Region Free, A and B Blu-rays, I'm happy. I decided to get a new multi-region player recently (I had planned to watch some festive slasher horror films over the Christmas and New Year holiday season last year, but a couple of films I tried to watch the discs froze (I'd had this player for a long time). A sigh of relief recently when the same discs played perfectly fine in the new player).

If I did get a 4K player sometime down the road, it won't be for some time yet, and I doubt I will get a 4K player to be honest. But thank you for the helpful reply to my In the Heat of the Night post.

I’ve been craving for pancakes and maple syrup. I don’t know how to make it from scratch, so it will be from McDonalds or Target. Perhaps this weekend.

Picking yourself up from taking another knock that impacts things on and off here (the second in less than a week), just as you're building yourself back up, it's difficult. On a visit here, I usually make half a dozen to ten posts (on the whole I take my time before I make a post, checking things/doing research first), whereas others make scores of posts per day (how do they find the time to make that many posts per day?).

I try to create a positive atmosphere and help others where and when I can. One or two seem to find it normal to pick holes at something said by another member, lecturing and talking down to them, making them feel small. So far this month (the first month of this new year), my New Year's resolution to not let people and situations get to me has been tested (on here, three unhelpful responses so far). I should not let my mind dwell on these negative things on here, and switch off from them and keep focused on the positives (eg. topics I'm interested in and the members I get on with who are positive and helpful).

I had a ten second dream of Ana de Armas yesterday morning. She was sitting at the back of a bus and there was a little discussion about traveling I think and then next thing I know, she's in the seat right behind me and we started talking and then I woke up...sorely disappointed I might add

Cheated myself at Goodwill. See mine sells blus for 2.99 and 3.99. Outrageous when pawn shops sells them for $1 and $2. No tax. Every other Goodwill sells .99 cents I've been to. So I got so I tear price tags off if their higher than. 99 cents. They said 2 99 girl checking me out had to run in back see how much they were they said blus r 3.99. That's not true bcthry had 20 all 2 99. So i put them all back except expendables 4.i hope this means their gonna start marking them all 3.99 now. Thats higher than what thry r brand new. Big Lots has some for $3
