Yes, there are 5 from the raid on normal. There are going to be three more later on, currently not avalible. There are total of 47 avaliable fragments, 50 once the three hidden ones are revealed.

You only need 45 out 47(currently) to get the TOM. Go to destinyghosthunter.net and link up your account. It will tell all of the fragmanets you have collected and videos on all the fragments so you can locate the ones you are missing. Now if you are using one charcter this will be hell of lot easier becuase that app will not distinguish between charcters on what you have collected, it the becomes a guessing game.

The thought of doing on my other charcter is not somethging I am looking forward to. I am just going to share the TOM between my charcters once I get it on one of my charcters. Now the exoctic sword quests I am doing on all three of my charcaters. Just want to have all three swords.

I would too, but exotic primary engrams drop far too few and far between. I can collect all of the fragments on one character in maybe an hour or 2, I would probably have to farm a dozen exotic engrams to get just 1 for a primary, and that would take days.

Well after playing IB almost the whole week I spent all the strange coins I've collected during my matches and I now have 142 Three of Coins.

When in the hell am I going to use all of these?

Stack them when it comes to strikes and see if you get a new exotic?

Unless something has changed I thought it was confirmed very early on that they don't stack, except when you use one and don't get an exotic.

I learned a new trick with them though. When you're fighting Oryx in the raid, every time you kill him in the shade phase you get a chance for an exotic drop if you have a 3 of coins active. After you get warped in you have a few seconds of immunity before you can be hurt, so you can jump into your menu and activate one.

don't use your three of coins when you're in the thunderdome, use it as soon as the previous bomb phase ends (before the knights spawn). i'd be disappointed if my team wiped because everyone was popping three of coins instead of shooting the shade when they got teleported.

No need to collect the fragments multiple times. Once you get the ToM the first time; you can buy another off of the Exotic wall for your other characters.

the reason to get it the other times is to have a 310 primary to throw into other weapons.

I got a 310 Zhalo SS from the weekly nighfall earlier this week and last week got a 310 chest piece. You might have a better chance of getting a 310 item from that as well. IMO I would rather have the 310 exotic sword as my 310 and then pick your favorite legendary primary and keep infusing it. Once you have the 310 ToM you can't equip any other exoctic then. Plus the ToM is a great weapon but its only really useful in the Raid against the sisters and Oryx, that's pretty much it. If you like scout rifles like the ToM I would rather take the hung jury and infuse it to 310 or more and it would be more useful throughout the game rather then just one area. That's just my 2 cents however I am in the same boat and trying real hard to get the ToM I love to Raid so me to it is a must lol.

I hardly ever use my exotic swords anymore. I usually use an exotic primary. In the raid I tend to swap weapons around a lot, pretty much every boss. Soros Regime for everything up to and including the worthiness test, Black Spindle for the War Priest and Golgoroth (unless I'm catching gaze then back to Soros Regime), Black Spindle for Daughters, then Malice for Oryx.

Finished Rank 5 on my main Titan last night, RNG post-game gave me the machine gun at 298 and a 312 shell. Rank 5 package gave me a 310 shell and a 312 Tormod's Bellows Rocket Launcher. Considering my highest heavy weapon was 293 (before the IB heavy drop), I'll certainly take that. Brought me up 3 light levels, up to 302 now.

Got my Warlock to rank 5 in IB and got two shells post-game, 314 and 316 and rank 5 package was 314 Ironwreath sidearm. Eh, I'll take it.

Yea that would not be cool, I typically pop one before heading into the next area. I've only got one exotic from a raid it was a 310 Jade Rabbit after beating Oryx.

Man, I've seen 310 exotics drop during the Nightfall for other players but I've never gotten one. Sooooo frustrating!

I got 1 weapon from 5 nights of IB it was a 281 Machine gun the IB was not good to me this week.
