Everyone needs to grab the gaze each round. Shouldn't be too bad just drag out a little longer.

So technically, Player 1 grabs the gaze while the remaining bunch shoot down the orb and DPS. When the timer is about to run out, Player 2 grabs the gaze and everyone retreats to the spawn and then Player 3 grabs it, and so on and so forth?

Basically 1 orb strategy with 5 other people grabbing the gaze after the initial wave so the challenge can be completed.

Ya so initial dps then split up and pass the gaze quickly. Let gaze wear off on 6 then repeat.

It means any death is an auto-wipe. And, it sounds from what you describe (six gaze holders each go-around), like you have to do the gaze switching before the DPS, right, because if you DPS first and kill him, you have not met the challenge.

no. just have to have all 6 grab gaze before someone loses the gaze (timeout).

so all 6 go through and get the gaze. he doesn't die.

can the whole process start over and you just proceed as normal where 1 or 2 guys get the gaze and you use 2 orbs to finish him off or before you have to start over again??

EDIT: Never mind, i found the answer to my question.....NO.....everyone has to hold the gaze in each round.

Each time you do damage, all 6 need to hold gaze. Unless you kill him during that phase.

ok, i'm reading more on the reddit page.

and it looks like you have to do it every round EXCEPT the round where he actually dies. As long as every player has held gaze on each round, it doesn't matter if everybody has held it on the orb that kills him.

so dps first, then gaze swapping.

It'll probably take a few more orbs than usual, because everybody will have to jump out of the puddle a few seconds early.

Need to organize early that 3 people go to one side and 3 people go to the opposite side. then you can swap the gaze back and forth very quickly after each DPS round.

I'm really excited to try this out when I get home.
