there was a glimpse of the scene he was in, with the crash wreckage in a green field, but it was a very distant shot, so if he was there he would be hard to see.

Since February, I've only seen this trailer...

... So with only that piece of footage imbedded into my brain, I will successfully attempt to avoid any new material/trailers or tv spots like a plague until I've seen the finished product August 1st.

I'm not about to let the marketing of Hollywood ruin my Hollywood movie experience. It's time that we stand firm on our attempts to actually enjoy a movie, without seeing everything about it on tv.

Stupid idea. The film wasn't composed for 1.90:1. It was composed for 2.39:1, therefore the intended ratio. Adding more image would be adding unnecessary headroom. Just watch it in a regular theater.

Nope not at all because Thanos relationship with Gamora is not a father daughter relationship at all. Thanos found the child and decided to use her as a weapon. He doesn't care if she is alive or dead now and wouldn't mind killing her himself. Sorry that you can't distinguish a comic book story from reality.

I learned a long time ago not to let a trailer set my expectations for a movie (especially in regards to tone). The trailer's function is to get people to the theater. Marketing doesn't care if they are misleading or not. This trailer exists for those who were on the fence about this film and the quirkiness in the previous trailers. I've been sold on this film from the first trailer, so I don't need to be pandered to. A crappy trailer will not diminish my excitement for this film.

The most recent trailer everyone is complaining about still makes it look like a good movie. Yes, it's less focused on the humor and more on the action, but it still looks very good.

And anyone who's seen any movies at all must realize that if a film features John C. Reilly in its trailer is obviously at peace with not taking itself too seriously.

Been awhile since I went to see a movie at the theater. I always say I am going to go see something but never do. This is a must however. Perhaps I will go see Godzilla afterwards since I keep putting it off.
