This. Also the ANOES films are so special effects heavy, the filmmakers can tell you so many stories just about that aspect alone.

I do love both of them, but NSA seemed to get a better treatment overall.
It was actually missing a lot of important people from Dream Warriors and Freddy vs. Jason.

NSA was thoroughly entertaining; it didn't even matter that I haven't seen all of the films. The participants seemed genuinely enthusiastic. There was plenty of humor to go along with all of the interesting behind the scenes insight.

I can't say the same for CLM. It wasn't bad, just slightly on the bland and boring side. It seemed like it only scratched the surface of each film. The participants either didn't have a lot to say, or they were holding back so as to not say anything controversial or politically incorrect. Or, perhaps they were victims of the editors. I don't know; it just wasn't as entertaining.
The CLM book has way more dirt.

I really enjoyed watching Crystal Lake Memories over the past couple of days. Seven hours flies by pretty quickly.

This was a great way to chase down the movies in Friday the 13th: The Complete Collection.

I'll probably put the book on my Christmas list unless I find it for cheap beforehand.

Most disappointing thing about this documentary: Julianna Guill not talking about her character's camera/dance/nudity/sex scene.

That scene speaks for itself. She does quote her character during the comedic end credits sequence of this documentary.

Travis Van Winkle talked about the sex scene, though.

I also wanted to know more about her character filming everything and the dance sequence. I'm a big fan of this movie, lol.

um, don't really know what there might be to say about it. she does talk about how she gets "killed" several different times in the movie. i do think she's my favorite of every girl in any of the movies, though....

In terms of looks alone, I like Terry (Kirsten Baker) from Friday the 13th: Part 2.

In terms of overall awesomeness, I like Ginny (Amy Steel) from Friday the 13th: Part 2 and Tina (Lar Park Lincoln) from The New Blood.

It's tough to choose, though. I could think about this for days.

I don't know. Would be cool to hear her talk about the experience of filming the scene. Plus, overall thoughts and reaction seeing it for the first time.

The guy who played Trent talked a little bit about the filming of it.

The definitive version of the book is the Enhanced Edition for the iPad. It contains the original text, plus tons of more info Peter couldn't fit into his original release, and contains videos inside.

I wish the bonus disc was still available. 4 more hours of interviews intrigues me.

I was wondering what that was when I saw it on the front page. It had me second guessing whether I already had it on blu or not.

Greatest sex scene in horror movie history imo.

...nothing else even comes close.

Sometimes i forget about Kirsten Baker (until that horrid mugshot came along lol) but she's right up there w/ Julianna Guill, Dana Kimmell whom i have always been a huge fan of, Judie Aronson & Lexa Doig rounding out the list. There was plenty of talent across the boards in these films but these ladies were my favorites.

I don't think I'll ever purchase this. It really bothers me that they don't have that bonus disc (which should have been standard to begin with) with it that's just extra interviews with no filler bull for over 4 hours long. To me that's better than the edited main feature.
