Custom Cover Art Thread

Anyone interested in working with me in help create a conceptual boxed set for a 50th Anniversary Star Wars Original Trilogy collection?

I've been putting together a list of what I would love to see on a 4K 50th Anniversary set of the OT, including different variations of the films (no branching, individual discs) from 1977-1983, 1997 and 20??, or whatever the current edition is now. Including a ton of special features and documentaries that would be included in one complete ultimate set for the biggest OT fans. No prequels, no sequels, just the OT.

I'm someone who prefers original poster art, and I want to take some inspiration from the Definitive Collection on laserdiscs as well.

This is clearly fan driven, as well as a fantasy that I'm pretty sure Disney/Lucasfilm would never do in a million years, but one can dream. DM me if you feel like you want to putter around for the next couple of years (we have until 2027) to come up with something unique and cool. I've got some pretty interesting ideas to start with, I just lack the Photoshop/Illustrator skills do it, however I do know how to do pretty basic stuff.

EDIT/ADDITION: I would like to maybe go ahead and do this concept artwork myself, but if anyone can point me in the right direction on where I can obtain high-res elements, like original poster art with credits and logos, logos from all three films, fonts, etc., would be much appreciated.

No such list exists, as far as I'm aware. I suppose a list isn't a bad idea, but it would be hard to maintain. People come and go in here, and, going by the limited response to your question, may not want to let themselves be known.

Speaking for myself, I've started taking commissions again, but only on a limited basis. I've already been contacted by this gentleman, but for all you others who are looking for someone to have some work done; I'm selective, pricey and a crotchity old man, but if you can't find anyone else, my PM box is open :-)*

Has anyone, by chance, seen or found a Tombstone custom cover but with the Vista Series style art? I have my old set I'd like to move to a bluray, I no longer have the box the dvd's came in....

Can anyone tell me if this Epson Expression Photo XP-8700 is a decent printer for making custom covers. also what paper would you recommend? thanks.

Similar to the printer I have (a slightly more beefed up version of that), and it's served me well. I prefer matte paper for my covers, personally, but any standard glossy photo paper will do the trick. Just be aware that it burns through ink fairly quickly.

Many thanks for the replies, can you tell me on average the amount of covers i will get out of the ink before i need to replace it?

I'd say maybe 15-20 ish? It's hard to measure because the cartridges end up getting replaced at different intervals and different covers use different amounts of certain colours.

Thanks for clearing that up for me i really appreciate it. The artwork on the more recent releases of old films (Gremlins, Lost Boys) to name a few are shocking so its about time i replaced them.

Been planning to do this for a while now but I decided to finally commit some time to a new set of Tarantino covers. I already made a set a few years back using theatrical poster art - this set is based on some of the awesome alternate poster art that some crazy talented graphic artists have put out there over the years. Will also prepare some UHD versions for the titles that have made it to 4K so far (I think it's rumored that Kill Bill will get a 4K release this year!).

May still make a few changes but here's what I have so far guys

Has anyone got a decent custom cover (in English) for the Richard Gere thriller 'Final Analysis'?
The film is coming out on bluray in Spain... but the cover is in Spanish.
