Did 5 full play throughs and finished the game 6x. I am fatigued.

Started +59 and beat all base game bosses.

I had a bad habit of pressing the triangle button. Coming off of playing ER and using the Xbox controller.

Finished +59 & +60. The boss that gives me the most problems is Ludwig, 2nd phase.



Started +61 and am @ level 506.

Started +63 this morning. I managed to beat the first 19 bosses in a little over 4 hours.


Just took out Kos.

I’m @ level 512.

Final boss left: Laurence

I am close with being done with this game. Played it too many times. Fatigued is setting in.

Putting my PS4 Pro back in hibernation.. When I return in 2025, I will continue where I left off @ +64.

Ahhh….interesting. I can only upgrade my attributes once or twice at most, so it is gonna take me at least 16+ runs to get to max.

Has Sony ever come out and said or even hinted why this game has never had a remaster or even PS5 patch? This is arguably the most requested PS4 game for that and it doesnt make sense given how many remasters/remakes Sony has already pushed out this gen. Is there some licensing issue that people are unaware of? Whats the hold up, especially since modders have been able to get this running at 60 fps on a modded PS5?

I believe I've heard somewhere that FromSoftware isn't opposed to working on it, but Sony is in control of the IP and not making any moves. If I had to take a wild guess, they might do a Demon's Souls and launch it on PS6.

Edit: I don't know what Bluepoint is working on right now, but they haven't done a game since Demon's Souls.

Since there's no option to respec in BB, I figured I'd go for max lvl. Why not lol.

After 14 hours of farming in the chalice dungeons, I finally got the perfect blood gems. Thus bringing my Hunter Axe ATK stats all the way up to 855.

Finished another NG+ playthrough. It was a kill-all-bosses-run incl. all DLC bosses. The uncanny saw cleaver +10 paired with 3 perfect blood gems, beast blood pellets & fire/bolt paper made quick work of everything. Only died 1 time to Rom. Got too greedy and the many small spiders ganged up on me, stunlocking me to death. Other than that it was a very chill victory lap. Love this game. My favorite souls game. 10/10

How easy is it to farm in Bloodborne? I'm a casual and usually suck at Souls games.

So the idea of a level system is very enticing, since I'm great with JRPGs.

Farming is actually not needed at all to complete Bloodborne. The game gives you enough resources to level up regularly. The beginning of the game is hard. Once you are past the initial hurdle and you've accustomed to the gameplay and the game's mechanics, it becomes easier (as you also get stronger).

I only went max lvl just because. There is also a "trick" with an edited chalice dungeon that gives you 140+K blood echoes for free every 30 seconds or so. This way you can level up extremely fast in no time. But I strongly advice to not use it on you first playthrough to get the intended experience.

There is also no need to farm the chalice dungeons for perfect blood gems. In the base game you can find good ones just by exploring. They make your wepons stronger. Especially helpful for the late game.

Most people finish the game at around lvl 80-100 without farming. Most pro players don't go beyond lvl 120 because of PvP reasons (online coop). It's important to level up your Vitality (health) and the stat that your weapon of choice scales best with. Most of the time it's either Strength or Skill. Bloodtinge and Arcane aren't really recommened for first time players. The hard cap for each stat is 50. Actually there is no need to level Endurance at all. You can finish the game with its base stat. But if you feel uncomfortable doing so, you can of course level it up. But whatever you do don't level Endurance past 40.

It's the hard cap for Endurance. After that you won't even notice any increase in stamina.
