Very true. I got lazy and its just the text from a scan with some layer effects on it. I was too lazy to try and not have to mask out the logos and color details lol

Hey AmishParadise, I'm trying to find your covers for Season 1 & 2. I am having trouble, can you repost a link t them please?

I'm hoping at getting advice here btw. I'm looking at scanning a few bluray covers I have to adjust the size of the spines for my shelf (make it a little more uniformed as the mixture of 11mm and 14mm spines is driving me nuts). I'm use to making custom covers for stuff but as I have the occasional bluray that decided to use slimmer cases...or if I buy blurays from other regions (I'm in the UK and sometimes buy US ones which are often 11mm).

I have a Canon TR4650, and can scan up to 600 DPI but I get these ripple noise effects on my scans and they aren't very clean. So was wondering if anyone knew of a process to clean those up or if I should invest in a high end scanner?

Hey Kyle. A 600 DPI scan should be giving you a nice, clean hi-res scan. Sounds like it might be time to replace your Canon. If you haven't already, try cleaning the glass with some window cleaner.

Working on a few covers for some Studio Canal 4K releases from the UK. Drives me nuts having thick cases mixed with the standard size cases on the shelf!... that and those damn ugly ratings logos they use

Hiya! I've seemed to get a bit of a workaround. Some scans come in clean, and if some just don't (sometimes it might be what the art was printed on), then an AI clean up tool (I've been using Remini which has given some great cleanups so far) to clean up any noticeable impurities. So far this is working for me.

@JohnCarpenter Cool Enter the Dragon covers (the one using the original poster is exactly what I was looking for).

The synopsis could probably use a bit of work though. The line that says "who has been invited to tournament as well" - that could do with "the" in front of tournament. Also the phrase "as well" is used immediately again on the next line ("he sets out for revenge as well") which makes it sound a little repetitive. I'd probably just put a full stop in after "he sets out for revenge".

Awesome work though, the colour scheme is great and the use of the old Warner Bros logo is a nice touch.

OT: I'm looking for some feedback regarding the Blu-ray menu backgrounds I created for this TV series. I tried making the area to the right of the cover art a bit more interested just to spice things up. I still sort of like the plain look though. Well, I could go either way. What does everyone think? (See my Doom9 forum post here to learn more about the Blu-ray's I created for this TV series.)
