When I see period pieces with pretty women, all I can think about is really, really hairy legs and pits, along with that incredible never-bathed smell everyone would have been emitting. Decided even if the schedulers call, I'm not working a single shift for my PRN job before Thursday. I'm going to enjoy what free time I have left before Monday and the new job starts.

Decided to watch Shrek 2 at home instead of at the theatre, don't feel like experiencing it at the theatre when I can enjoy it in peace and quiet at home. Lack of open captioning showings today was definitely a factor.

I saw Shrek 2 yesterday and it was another really good time at the theater. I try to support re-release films and only have an issue with bad audiences maybe 5% of the time or less. So far this year I can't think of any issues and I've seen over 50 movies.

Yeah it's just hard to beat the convenience of watching it at home and all the conveniences and amenities that go into that. I'll say it's more likely I would've gone if the row I like wasn't practically sold out and I wasn't convinced it would mostly be kids who can't get into Godzilla and Panda.

Although I live in a large city there aren't typically many movie goers. There were around 15 people in the theater for Shrek 2 which even on one of their small screens left lots of room. I saw Arcadian earlier in the day and there were only 4 other people at that showing.

I met a nice woman yesterday and talked to her for a while. In describing her son's father she used those exact terms. My son's father. Not husband or boyfriend or fiance or anything else that would indicate a current relationship. I'm thinking she used that term because she's single and wanted me to know without saying it outright.

There's employers that recruit on job boards that I don't want to apply for anymore so I've asked Indeed to stop showing me those listings. It's a little thing during job hunting that gives me a bit more piece of mind.
