I would love to see a film entirely about them. Haven’t watched Cars 3 yet but really looking forward to it.
#3 ends the series very well. it's well made but haven't watched in 3D yet. if it's on the same level as 1 & 2, I bet it's gonna be very nice. My son loved the original so much when he was 2 years old, it played non-stop for months lol

Well, finally gave into the $15 shipping charge and ordered the Turkish edition of Friends: Naki on the Monster Island.

Both the 3D and story really got a good review at least from here along with a 6.3 on IMDb

No real pop-outs but great depth and many of the scenes really benefited from the 3D treatment and the movie actually felt like it was made with 3D in mind. I loved the western US desert setting. One of Pixar's strongest 3D presentations, recommended!

Based on reviews here I decided to pass on the second Cars movie but just ordered the third.
Cars 2 has good entertaining 3D and its story is more centered on Matter but it is well done. A bit like as if Johnny English was a rusted tow truck. I have it and i really enjoyed it.

Regarding the 3D presentation. Watched about 20 minutes last night and the depth appeared mild in many a scene. Catching the rest this afternoon, the 3D was much more consistently dynamic. Reading Jeffrey Kauffman's review he mentioned "The 3D presentation here is fun and at least occasionally quite immersive, but I personally found it a little underwhelming at times."

Disagree as far as proportion. In the beginning, yes, it was often mild but as time went on the 3D certainly became much more immersive. Made me feel better (this afternoon thought something was wrong with my eyes or equipment the evening before).

So overall a very pleasant 3D experience with great picture detail and color saturation. Of course, it's definitely recommended.
I have that movie too. That movie is so cute and its 3D is really a plus in it. I loved that they also used the original Bill Melendez audio for Snoopy's voice as an hommage because no other could impersonate him. I didn't watch it in the cinema but i happen to buy it because i'm a huge fan of Charlie Brown and Snoopy since i was a toddler and this movie is based on the christmas special that i also saw when i was a kid so it was a no brainer to have it when it was released on FnacPT.

The 3D is definitely on the mild side but not completely non-existent. And I really enjoyed the story and the characters. I think you'll enjoy this one!

The Great Gatsby. Medium-to-Strong. It just lacked that definitive pop-out scene to make this Strong. There were a lot of great medium-to-strong negative parallax as well a strong depth. Excellent layering as well and clean crisp rendering. Not all movies need to have those strong 3D pops and this is a great example of a very enjoyable 3D viewing experience.

I did end up watching Ghost Rider 2 because it allowed me to test a couple of things* The movie is very silly but maybe not quite as bad as I thought. The 3D is meh and reminds me of Monster Hunter. Nothing special, just meh with the animated titles as the best 3D in the movie. The audio is OK with a couple of nice effects here and there but again nothing earth shattering. I was hoping for something like Drive Angry and Cage comes with the same energy, but the movie and the 3D is just not as good.

*Reducing file size while keeping same picture quality and new VR hardware outlined in the 3D VR forum.

Thanks President.

A disappointment but nothing that can't be resolved. Might shop around for another copy at a good price.

I get a lot of scratched discs and I've had a few cracked discs but never one in pieces, that's some serious abuse it's taken...

Just again watched Adventures in Zambezia.

A thoroughly enjoyable animated feature enhanced by the effective use of 3D. Very much recommended.

Hi 13th,

The pieces were large enough that the overall disc itself remained placed in the hub and casing, like a completed jigsaw puzzle. Did lift a piece or two to be sure it wasn't the artwork playing tricks on me.

Of course it was meticulously inspected before shipping.......

Vi Horas Decisivas. Mild-to-Medium. Not the brightest picture, too foggy and hazy at times but it the movie is just great it draws you in. Two equal protagonists in 1 movie in Affleck and Pine. Some negative parallax is a plus. Depth is wanting. Still an enjoyable treat.

Avengers Infinity War. Strong. Definitely the best Marvel I've seen so far with nice layering, beautiful 3d sceneries of different worlds, an action battle scene that is not as fast as the Avengers 1 battle scene (the slower the better for 3D). It also have strong pop-outs on Vormir with those ashes coming close to my face and that definitive strong pop of the green stone.
