Rotel eh? Is that the same company that makes this?

Not too much of an actual party, but a bass player friend came over with a new Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray bass that he just bought and we jammed for a couple of hours. It's one of the nicest sounding basses I've ever heard. He bought it used for $1200.

He just left to go talk to his ex-girlfriend, but he left a 12 pack of beer.

Would have been great to see a pic of the bass guitar.

I looked online for a pic that looked exactly like his, and I found this on eBay and it says "Sold" and he bought his on eBay, so this might be an actual photo of his bass:

[Show spoiler]

Here's a full sized shot of another similar bass but with only the single humbucker and no pickup switch:

I'm watching the Zappa Plays Zappa DVD right now. It was filmed in HD, but still hasn't been released on BD. It's one of my favorites.

Valley Girl was FZ's only top 40 song in the US, peaking at #32. Not one of my personal favorites, but funny. It was sung/said by his daugter Moon Unit Zappa.

My favorite lyric/line is "Lord-God-King-Bufu".

Haven't watched SNL in years. Loved the early 90's stuff.

Yep, think you may be the only person watching it.

Awesome Joe. Food is also rather important here at the end of the month.

Yes they also make tin cans and cheap robots.
