Custom Cover Art Thread

I'm presently working on some cover art for the TV series, "Babylon 5" as the recent Blu-ray release doesn't offer season specific cover art. See below.

Children of a Lesser god Blu by sgood3, on Flickr

Gave up on Paramount ever releasing this film on Blu-ray, so I caved and picked up the (legit?) Spain release. Created this cover to ditch the Spanish cover, and utilize the original poster art. Back is from what I think was a legit Paramount DVD release.

Now that I've done this, I expect Paramount (or Imprint in Australia) to announce an actual Region A Blu-ray release soon...

Also, as I did with Loki steel earlier, I got the Blu + DVD set, and ditched the DVDs & steel, keeping the Blu discs for myself and making a new cover for them.

That cover art is quite nice. Speaking of Spanish Blu-Rays with questionable legality, I wonder if someone could make one for Rankin Bass's The Hobbit animated movie? I was hoping WB would release it, but I think I'll go and pick up the Spanish release in the meantime.

Any chance anyone knows of / could point me in the direction of a good custom for Peter Weir's Master and Commander? I love this movie but always thought the poster art and later dvd covers were slightly bizarre as you've got Russell Crowe's giant head floating over the logo, below which is his ship conducting itself against all logic by being about to be broached to in a giant sea while simultaneously firing her guns.

Been working on this for a while, but a new baby in the house has made it tough to finish. Done in the style of Patrick O'Brian's books, which use the wonderful nautical artwork of Geoff Hunt.

I'll carve some free time to finish it in the near future!

I've completed my work on the Babylon 5 cover art. To view the full size images just click on the given preview image below. The template I was working from is intended for 11mm (3173 X 1762) Vortex Blu-ray cases. Not a good fit obviously for this release as each season is 4 discs. That being said, if you're interested in larger spine sizes I've got you covered. I worked up sets with 11mm,12.5mm, 14mm, 15mm, 22mm and 25mm spines. Also included below are different arrangements for the back portion below the credit block and spine so pick your poison. Spared no expense as John Hammond would say.

That's really impressive and lovely artwork, but I'm not sure the Tribune spelled "magnificent" that way.

I searched this thread and couldn’t find anything. I also googled can only find DVD covers and no BRD custom covers that closely resemble the Japanese ones.
In particular I’m after :
Godzilla : Planet of Monsters
Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle
Godzilla: The Planet Eater

Can anyone help?
