Attention all Guardians of PlayStation.

DeeJ from Bungie here, with some important news for all Crucible warriors. Iron Banner returns today. When Lord Saladin appears in the Tower, he’ll have something extra to entice you to join the battle. On PlayStation, champions of the competitive event will have a chance to earn an exclusive gear set.

Power matters in Iron Banner, so the armor you equip makes all the difference. You’ll find some of these additional items in each Iron Banner event, available from Lord Saladin. It will also drop at the conclusion of a match, as loot does.

Get in there and fight. Be brave. Earn some endgame Legendary gear.

What they need to do to keep with the medieval theme is have a melee weapon that matches. Like a big a$$ broad sword or a mace.

That makes 2 new dead ghosts in phogoth's chamber... maybe they will finally start adding old strikes to the heroic?

Oh, the other dead ghost is on the top middle beam above phogoth, opposite the entrance, just in case anyone missed that one

I just had a terrible thought, maybe these new dead ghosts in phogoth room, is a sign that Bungie is bringing back the Thorn!?

I've been spreadsheeting my Iron Banner progress to watch the buff rates and try and cash in my weekly bounties at the optimal time.

Yesterday the total buff, if you were also wearing the shader, emblem, and class item, was ~1.32. Today it's calculating to ~1.528 so the weeklys should cash in for ~799 rep.

I'm watching for the sweet spot where I can chain 2 of them right to level 4 then cash the final one.

bah, his guide is really only useful if you're only playing for a little while every day.

By his route I wouldn't hit level 5 until Saturday or Sunday, which is unacceptable

Maybe, but we don't all get a holiday from work this week. I get Friday off this week only, so it's informative. I won't follow it strictly, since I've finished today's dailies, and have only to reach rank 4 for the weeklies with the Titan. I'll play with a Warlock, if I play tonight, who still has some unfinished bounties from last IB. I did pick up the bounties for all three yesterday, though I may not play with the Hunter at all.

Once you get the first leveled the second and third are so quick. I think it took me like three or four hours total to level my third character from scratch last IB. The bonuses are massive on Saturday-Monday.

I switched HDD's on the PS4 and I've been installing the disc games and updating them, while downloading the DLC I have purchased....... When I looked into the library section for the first time lol, I saw this Destiny - The Taken King in there. I selected it and had 3 options. Purchase, try demo, or download. I just clicked on Download and it began downloading an 18GB file. I have too many things to download, so I paused it and left it for later.

I don't have the Destiny game and never downloaded anything related to Destiny. So what is the purpose of this file? What options would I have and is it even playable since I don't have Destiny disc?

Stupid question, is there really any benefit in playing the other two characters if you are happy with your (Warlock, in my case) first one? I only have time to play 1-2 hours every few days so I don't have a lot of time to devote into leveling up.
