Stability updates just means they fixed bugs, as opposed to adding new features or changing intended functionality. They don't say anything more than that because a full changelog would be boring and/or not understandable. It could also be that they needed to change something about the network interface.

I know it's amusing in that way, but "stable" is a pretty common, if slang term in the world of software testing. A stable application doesn't have a lot of usability bugs. That's where they're getting it from anyway.

I’ve been working & failing on getting this Xbox Elite Controller to work with PS4 via an X One Adaptor which was recently released. Had me thinking that maybe, just maybe some of these stability updates include Proprietary software to make unofficially licensed products to not work on PS4.

Maybe but I doubt it based on how often people poke fun at or complain about Sony's changelogs (not necessarily here).
Like if you understand it just means big fixes and that stability is a common term in the software world, then how is it funny? ![]() |

http://www.ign.com/articles/2018/07/...-sign-ups-open I’ll bet a big 6.0 update will have more social media stuff nobody likes, more stability and more family and privacy options. On a more serious note, needing a Now sub is telling. Maybe they’re implementing the Now download ability? |

So, what will 6.0 bring us? What's left on the wish list? Dolby Atmos support would be good, for films and games. I'd really like to be able to export my captured videos and screenshots directly to cloud storage like G Drive, etc, but I'm not sure what else I'd like to see?
