IIRC Cop Killers comes with extras, per a Facebook update. I do wish that these drive-in releases had reversible sleeves so you can have color artwork.

Yeah, but I don't own any of these old code red dvd's. I gain nothing by having the extras stay on the dvd. It's not worth making the blu ray neutered just to make the poorly (according to bill) selling dvds worth more.

Just caught Ruined defending the botched transfer for Shout’s Platoon release. Dude is taking on all comers defending the indefensible. I mean his “efforts” with The Carrier are nothing compared to this.

Wasn't defending the Platoon release at all and never had any plans of ever buying it. I was just offering an evidence-based plausible alternate explanation other that Shout "botching" the transfer based on some of the same issues facing some other major studios 4K transfers of catalog titles. Sure, Shout could have botched it but we don't know that for sure at this point. IMO even if the Shout release was great, though, it would be a waste of money since Platoon is no doubt going to get a real 4K UHD release in the future.


The Carrier, on the other hand, is worth buying for the best quality version of the best cut of the movie on home video to date that is not available anywhere else and may never be.

So you are not defending the release but defending Shout who releases it? Guess what Ruined...when a label releases garbage...they own that garbage, like what CR did with The Carrier.

I am STILL waiting for these “collectibles” like The Carrier and THTV to go up in price due to the many conspiracy like theories that you present ??????

Sales tax in Illinois is over 10%, I saved $3 getting it from Dark Force. Usually I'd just buy it from Amazon though
