Certainly more impressive than the Nissan Kicks that I test drove yesterday but I'd still take a Kia Telluride before this...I think

I was unable to get a proper night's sleep, largely I guess due to going to bed an hour early to get up for this weekend's trip. Will probably end up sleeping on the flight to Vegas and perhaps also the flight to Minneapolis.

Yeah, but how do they taste? JK. My wife and I actually cook for our dogs and typically mix it with either wet or dry dog food.

Been a long and hot week but I’m sure you’ve been waiting for my Raising Cane’s review. I ended up not using the app. I figured that way I’d get the whole experience. I went with the box combo as you suggested. I really liked it and everything was good. I went with the sweetened iced tea or Ice-T which I thought was very sweet but quite refreshing on a 90+ day. I had a good laugh when I realized the restrooms required a code. You know you’re in Philly when they even keep the restrooms locked. Daggone undesirables! I went back to the counter and had to wait for the person to finished ordering before I was like..



Overall, a great value. If there’s a CFA & Cane’s next to each other, I’m going with the latter. Would I go out my way for it? Probably not

I did take a few pics.







Afterwards I hit IKEA and took a few shots of the SS United States. It’s just mind boggling to see it up close rusting away. I get Ghost Ship vibes.



No trip to IKEA would be complete without their Swedish meatballs. Although considering this is $10 without a drink is rather troubling.

Hit Costco on the way back for dinner and this only cost me $6.

I often hike the mountain up on the top left of this pic above from the tunnel...here is a pic from the top of that mountain looking towards the north. Believe it or not, but the trail I am on in the pic is considered part of the Appalachain Trail.

Looks like a fun little roadtrip. I was starting to wonder if you made it out of Philly or were given the santa treatment and are now a chalk outline outside some bail bonds shop.

Glad you finally got your Canes. They do have some darn good chicken. Did you get extra sauce? They never give you enough sauce. Lock codes on the bathroom and kevlar vests? You sure you weren't at a Popeyes?

We just got a Canes a few miles up the road from me and tried it when I saw the line wasn't around the corner lol. It is not bad, the sauce is pretty good and getting the toast buttered both sides is for sure the way to go. They have a simple menu which should allow them to keep constancy.

Still though imo if you get a Popeyes that is well run it doesn't come close, the Popeyes chicken samich is still king imo if made correctly. Canes is just a few tenders put on a bun to be honest.

LOL! Yeah I made it back in one piece but traffic sucked. As for Canes…I did ok with one sauce as I was trying to compare the chicken to other places. I’m sure they charge you for extra. I can totes see why you need to order more sauce. I went through the drive thru and then ate inside because it was hot as balls. Forgot to have them butter both sides. Is that a common request?

The Costco berry froyo concoction was actually a strawberry ice cream sundae. While at Trader Joe’s the dude at the checkout was nice as I forgot one item. He said he’d scan things slowly. He asked me if I wanted a bag and I said yes even though I had like 8 items. Pulled out the receipt and noticed the little shit charged me .15 for the bag lol.
