I think we need a quick rundown on the chicken hierarchy. While Popeyes is ok, it's just a glorified KFC. Canes and CFA still hold the top spots and it's not even close. You don't go to Canes for a sandwich. If you want a sandwich you go to CFA. If you want to slum it you go to Popeyes.

![]() greater than.... ![]() I mean no comparison.... But you have to hit a Popeyes that is not employed by people who could give two @#@#s, that is were Chick-fila beats all of them hands down. I just wish Chick would stop cheapening their product, they admitted to changing away from using non antibiotic free chicken due to cost and availability. You can tell as their sandwich has also shrunk a good bit over the last few years too to go along with a cheaper quality product. I do still enjoy them waffle fry's though... |

My grandparents fed their dog leftover scraps of human food and I never thought there was anything wrong with that (I still don't). Cooking for a dog feels like overkill and unless you've done that since day one it'll be hard to get them to change from traditional dog food. I do agree, however, that traditional dog food is not ideal and should be a last resort. There are startups now that sell "healthy" cooked food made especially for canines but only the pickiest of dog owners will sign up. Most folks just feed their dogs whatever is around - at least in my experience. My sister had a dog that was addicted to chicken. If you had a piece of chicken in your hand and let your guard down even for just a moment, there was a good chance it would snatch it right out of your hand.

Finally made it home after my Friday morning-Saturday evening trip to Minnesota. About to take a break from watching LOST in the background to play a bit of video games and then cut my hair + shave before going to a 10:30 training.

Wondering if Gatorade discontinued their GatorLyte line. Used to find it everywhere, but lately no store within a 80 mile radius has it in stock, and I don't want the side effects caused by regular Gatorade.
As someone who dehydrates easily in the warm weather, that stuff had the right amount of electrolytes without compromising with sucrose or whatever sweetener these companies are putting in workout drinks these days. A buddy of mine recommended LMNT, but honestly that stuff's a bit too expensive for my wallet, plus I feel like it's way too influencer-biased, pretty much every outdoors/workout YouTube/Instagram channel is sponsored by them. I've thought about making my own homemade version; basically a teaspoon of salt and a spritz of lemon juice which sounds too simple to be effective lol |
