Really fun movie with top-notch 3D.
Is this dubbed or subbed ?

Why not check the site search? It's English and German subbed which is weird for a German disc.

Minions (2015) If you like the Despicable Me films in 2D you will love them in 3-D!

Still pissed that Minions: Rise of Gru didn't get a 3D Blu-Ray Release.

Lots of Maoist propaganda, which can’t be turned off. Just ignore it and enjoy all the 3D action.

Japan Sky Perfect HD 3D-- pretty good!

Farai, I have to disagree on it being dreadful. First off, medium to medium-strong 3D throughout.

I gotta tell ya this is probably one of the better "demo" discs out there. It was a demo disc released in 2010 by Sky Perfect, a satellite tv system in Japan, like our Direct TV. It promoted their 3D programming back in the heady days when we were all so optimistic about the future of 3D...

I started inauspiciously when the menu screen popped up with an animated bear speaking in Japanese in SBS mode. Once started, it began to impress. I noticed it is nearly 40 minutes long, which was a great sign since many demo discs were 15 minutes long and looped all day in the store. It starts out with multiple samples of the same scene playing first in 2D, then in 3D...a nice educational moment for people considering a store purchase.

Then it kicks into high gear with a UFC-style fight in Japan. One fighter and his entourage performs a NZ haka dance, then gets it on in the ring. It was a nice fight where the guy who was beginning to dominate the fight got clipped with a quick left hook as he advanced and he hit the deck.

Next were some pro Japanese soccer highlights, similar in experience to those who've watched the 3D 2010 FIFA World Cup Film. Makes you nostalgic for what could of been for broadcast 3D tv. (ESPN 3D anyone?)

--next was a Yosakoi street dance festival. Very fun, dynamic, colorful.

--clips from a travelog talk show hosted by a young female narrator

--Japanese steam locomotive (looks like Hiro of the Rails from Thomas the train series). Not bad (and better 3D and more exciting than the E5 Shinkansen Hayabusa disc) with a few shots of the training coming right at you.

--motorcycle racing (Suzuka 8 hours) with the highlight being the motocross girls.

--Coraline trailer

--car racing-- professional drift grand prix series. A couple strong 3D scenes.

--a couple young Japanese models in kimono's going to an outdoor bath. It ends pretty tamely with them sitting immersed, wearing towels?

--scenes from a Japanese aquarium/sea world-- nice, including a girl being launched off the nose of a whale, and a dolphin jumping out of the water coming towards the screen.

--domestic scene-- woman sleeping and someone throws a cat on top of the bed. Eats breakfast, drinks water, looks at a mirror. Nice vivid colors; cute model, not sure of the purpose.....until her scene in a green bikini spraying a surfboard with a hose. Then sprays herself. Then blows out bubbles. Ok, I got it now.

It's funny. I just realized this is one of my longer reviews of a minor demo disc. It's not great, but it's better than most of the documentaries I've purchased this past year, so..... Also, there's little unique I can say about all the 3D movies most of us have, but many of you will never experience the Sky Perfect demo. If by chance you ever have an opportunity to buy this, cheaply, it's worth the $8 bucks I spent.

I wonder if we have the same disc? The beginning is the same, SBS bear and then football and fighting. I'll have to check again but I don't remember any of the other segments. It was about 8 mins long.

TATHOM. Strong. This is solid and I understand now why many of you guys like this. Lots of pops on this one and clearly, as with all my Strong reviews, the 3D not only well-rendered but also is a major piece in the thought process of making the movie. When Thunder entered the house and fumbled his way in the attic, it was 3D magnificent I had to rewinid and re-watched that scene. Happy to own this.

Just again watched Corgi.

What more can be said? Wonderful, clever and charming animated fun.

Looks great in 3D. Plenty of spatial separation, color and detail coming through viewing on my 3D Video Wizard.

Being it's region B, another reason for a region free player.

Thunder and the House of Magic deserves to be much more well-known, or even known at all. It’s an absolute classic. I like it better than many modern Disney films.

It's a good example of what 3D could and should be.

In my experience, the dog's gaping jaw in the slo-mo sequence near the beginning sticks so far out of the screen that folks try to stick their head in it when watching. A far cry from the American 3D philosophy that nothing should stick out of the screen more than an inch and/or for more than an instant.
