I'd say you SAYING it was the ending is more of a spoiler than the pic itself... it could be from any moment in the film otherwise.

From what I have seen lately, "The Third Man" Criterion BD has been selling in the $73.00 - $78.00 range on Ebay (used). One just popped up there less than 10 minutes ago at $70.00 with free shipping, and I snagged it.

It's one of MGM's Kubrick "orphans" (ie., pre-"Spartacus", that got dumped into their bare-bones vintage back-catalog), so we all pretty much saw it coming and crossed our fingers after "Paths of Glory".
(And I'd thought it was "White Dog" too, if it hadn't already gone to disk. )

It's been ten years...no, I'm sorry, twelve years...since the "Criterion will come to our rescue, now that Disney's being mean about the Ghiblis!" fan campaign; for pity's sake, let it go!
Some of us have learned to accept that studios have since learned to hang onto their own titles--David Fincher notwithstanding--and that it's only fruitful to hope that Criterion will get Janus Films, Studio Canal or MGM catalog castoffs.
Yes, Canal may or may not have distribution on Fireflies after CPM, but we've got to expunge the last DNA traces of "Maybe Criterion will release Kiki's Delivery Service, if we petition them!" from our collective system. Future generations will thank us.)

I'd wondered whether it'd started becoming a new trend yet for fans to do their own Three Reason fan-trailers on YouTube--
But, didn't want to see it start becoming a viral cliche, get overexposed, copied, misinterpreted, parodied, become completely fan-mutated out of context, and end up like the Hitler Video....Still, admit it, hasn't anyone had the urge to cut their own for "Kwaidan" or "Man Who Fell to Earth"?
