I am very busy for a retired man. Lots of free time, but also lots of toys to play with.

I have video games that are more than a decade old that I have not even launched once. Most were gifts, but it all attests to just how taxing all of this entertainment can be.

I don’t have as many discs waiting to be watched as Vilya, but I still have 3 seasons left of Bates Motel and Boardwalk Empire. I haven’t started 12 Monkeys yet and just picked up Watchmen today. In December season 4 of the Expanse is released so I have more than enough tv shows on disc to keep me occupied. Side note on the Expanse is that it is one of the best sounding tv shows I have heard.

Really enjoyed Bates Motel. Vera Farmiga was a force of nature in that show.

Perhaps, but 4K TV's presence will only grow as these TVs get replaced. 4K TVs are mostly all that are sold now unless you wanna dive head first into the wild west of 8K TVs.

Ma y gamers are stating they are buying a 4K set in time for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Still lots of HDTVs being sold. I just bought a 43" Roku HDTV for my bedroom - first time ever having one in my bedroom. $88 + tax (brand new) - free shipping. Added a cheap Phillips soundbar as I knew the sound would be bad (same set my son has minus the built-in Roku) for $50. It gets the job done. Decent picture too.

Yes, in the smaller screen sizes you can still find HD TVs, but you know that the average screen size in our homes is only getting bigger. The popular 55" and larger models are mostly all 4K now and they are also more affordable than ever. Many feel that in order to fully enjoy the benefits of 4K that you need a screen size of at least 55".
