That fat POS was part of the dying WCW and was terrible, which is why he can't find employment elsewhere.

Yeah, he was released a few days ago because he wanted to work some shows in Mexico.

Some news and spoiler for March 8th Monday night Impact...

TNA stars unhappy with Thursday's Impact...
Quote:
According to a report on F4WOnline.com, morale in TNA right now is way down. Several people were unhappy with this past Thursday's Impact show for the bad job they did hyping the live Monday debut as well as the little-to-no build up for the upcoming Destination X pay-per view.

Many felt they focused way too much on Hulk Hogan's in-ring debut with the company, which will be in a tag-match with Abyss against Ric Flair and AJ Styles.

There's a reason the rating was down. There wasn't any wrestling on last weeks show.

And everyone knows that they will be concentrating their effort on tonight's show.

I suppose a true measurement of tonight's success is how it compares to the January 4th rating, although RAW is bringing nothing special to the table so I intend on giving TNA my attention. The timeslot directly conflicts with a rather average season of 24 though.

More news for tonight's Live Impact...

*
[Show spoiler]Jeff Hardy
at one point was scheduled to take part in a match.

*The show might start 2-3 minutes early so be aware of that.

*The show is scheduled to have an eight minute over-run.

I haven't watch 24 since the second night! I'll just wait for it to come out on BD!

So Monday Night War 2 is set to commence.

I gotta wonder: will this be good or bad?
Back in '96, WCW stood accused of simply trying to sap ratings as opposed to compete and grow. Some fans didn't like being forced to choose one show or the other. And of course, on-air cheap chots were fired by both sides. Some were funny, others I found annoying and simply led me to change the channel. That being said, it can also be argued that direct competition lit many creative and athletic fires, and it shows that overall interest in wrestling peaked during the mid to late stages of MNW1.

For MNW2: I do wonder what TNA's motives for wanting to go head to head are. I'd hope its something better than bitterness against Vince, but we'll see. Other ?s: Will there still be other TNA shows during other days of the week or even repeats of Impact on other nights? Another big difference in this 'war' is that DVR and TiVO devices are more common now, so the whole forcing fans to choose thing is less of an issue today.

TNA just needs to deliver 3 quality wrestling matches tonight and the whole %#$#&$ show, RVD. And I'll be satisfied.

I'm a wrestling fan and remembered this while watching ROH on HDNet a few weeks back and being legitimately intrigued by it, so I enjoy multiple options against WWE. I still find WWE entertaining in small doses (I can tolerate the WWE Experience show if I catch it) but viewers need an option, and TNA can have its moments. As far as their motives go, it's a risk but it could be good for their growth and I'm sure there's quite a bit of bitterness to test Vince again. So while I enjoy both WWE and TNA in small doses, it's nice to know there's more pro wrestling on TV if RAW is having a dull evening (it happens once or twice).

This. Or three matches period unlike the last Monday night show.

Gotta be posted here too, just 15 minutes till The Monday Night Wars - Redux begin again. Tonight, I'll be partying like it's 1998.

For the first time in a decade I'll get to watch one show, while I record one to watch immediately after, and I'm pumped!
