I don't like either one of those Fight Club photos. I don't like the face Pitt is making, don't really want another shot of soap in my steelie since it's already on the cover, and I don't think I'd want to read that word every time I remove the disc.
There are some awesome scenes in Fight Club that could be used instead of those two: the ending with them looking out the windows at the city, Pitt in a fighting pose with that crazy jacket, Pitt shirtless and smoking surrounded by a bunch of guys, Norton in his bosse's office, Norton pulling the trigger, Pitt in front of the white van, Pitt and Norton sharing a beer on the curb, etc., etc. Last edited by mr. b; 10-14-2010 at 03:52 AM. |

Nice job Marcus on your "Fight Club"
![]() So as promised, I took some pics when doing my last spine work, and here they are .. ![]() ![]() After you have cutted the glue using the card (as thin as possible), you will have some glue left on the plastic spine and on the metal piece like this : ![]() ![]() ![]() Then use your magic finger ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ... and to perfectly clean the plastic, you can use some alcohool ... at the end it must be perfectly translucid as shown on the following picture : ![]() Then put the glue on the plastic part .. and spread it using your magic finger again (you must keep the plastic part as translucid as possible) ... and put your artwork .. ![]() ![]() ![]() Then add some glue on the back of the artwork and on the back of the metal piece, and put it on the spine. To finish the job, put the Steel on his spine on a table and leave it like that for 10-15 minutes ![]() ![]() ![]() and here is the result : ![]() Hope this help ![]() Cheers. Steph. |

I've decided to start making my blank interiors 1 picture panoramic's just like what should be found on Steelbooks in the first place.
Robin Hood (Australian) was my first effort, have since finished Minority Report and this one. All I need to do now is have the spine Anglicized and we're good to go. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Blu-Boy in BKK; 02-21-2011 at 06:11 AM. |
