I hate those DVD case things, I have one and it's Cinderella, but it was only because it was cheap. I dont get why someone would prefer it over the Blu-Ray case.

I know if I wanted to display it on a DVD shelf that's when it comes in handy, but I rather display a Blu with a Blu. I only have one DVD packaging Blu-ray but it's on another DVD shelf

Er, I guess, I think if they wanted to do that, just buy the original releases, it has great packaging!

Not sure why that was addressed to me as opposed to the other 4 posts that quoted it, but I'll try to figure out how to do that. I'm on a mobile device too.

I had the same one, but I bought a replacement case and printed off the bluray sized artwork online.

Love it, and the art deco embossed line art in the blue border are a nice & unique touch. No kidding. Why is this being so neglected? |

What Chip is saying is that blu-rays encode the widescreen/scope/OAR picture without the need to alter pixel geometry, so while they are widescreen they are technically not anamorphic.

Absolutely! Even if there's a marginal difference, such as 1.78:1 for BD vs. 1.85:1 for theatrical, or 2.35:1/2.40:1 for Blu vs. 2.39:1 for theatrical, that's not anamorphic, it's actually letterbox. Only slightly, but still letterbox.

I've only noticed a difference between 1.78:1 and 1.85:1 on a widescreen display, but it is that marginal difference. Oh well I saw so much more picture in the trailer compared to before now
