I'm going to see it first because it's a Fincher movie. Second because it was filmed in my home town of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

I wouldn't them generic, but his later movies have very similar vibes, same filter, Trent Reznor score, etc..

sadly I'm not impressed by the trailer, I'd love to be proven wrong

Yeah, that is a tough decision. I really enjoyed reading the book last summer. Quite the page-turner and gripping from start to finish.

I'm on the fence to reading this as well, but I have a feeling I'll end up reading it since I keep passing it every time I go to Barnes & Noble.

If you want to know as little as possible, don't read the book. What hooked everyone on the book was not the ending(which frankly sucked), but something that happens about 1/3 of the way through. And amazingly, neither trailer has even hinted at it.

I've heard that they've changed the ending and also heard that it's pretty much the same. Hopefully it ends up being better than the book.

I think this is one of the top trailers of the year. The cover of "She" overlaying the whole trailer is just perfect. Really looking forward to the movie now.
