It is a 31 day ban, not a permanent ban. Thread closed for now.

I'll post about it here so everyone knows. Guido and Rickah have been going at it for months now...bickering, fighting, and derailing threads. I imposed a rule where they were not allowed to quote each other or refer to each other in any way directly or indirectly.

All they did was to continue with their problematic behaviour, asking their friends to report and send pms to the mods about the other guy, and themselves would bombard the mods with complaints about the other guy CONSTANTLY.

I have been dealing with this nonsense for weeks. Both members have been suspended because of this in prior occasions. Just two days ago they BOTH sent me pms complaining about each other again...many hours of the moderation's time lost because of those two.

I sent them a very clear, stern pm and told them to cut the crap...yes, rude but to the point. They both apologized, blah, blah, blah. Guess what? Two days later and they start again!

So they are BOTH banned for 31 days and if they start again when they come back, they are both going to be perm and ip banned. This is here for all to see, we have nothing to hide. Any questions? Send me a pm.

This could not be further from the case. These members have been warned literally DOZENS of times, on almost a daily/semi daily basis for weeks now.

The Mods, especially in the case, literally did everything we could do to NOT ban either of these two, but in the end they will be held responsible for their own actions, as Blu Titan has detailed:

Thanks for the info. Know nothing of this Guido guy, but rick has always been a class act. Emotions get the best of us sometimes though, and I've had my share of warnings from Titan. Looking foward to The Return of Rick!

This is nothing. On another board I used to lurk on, I never posted because the mods seemed to all have god complexes and had no rhyme or reason for ban sentences. 25 people could all post about a price error scam, but only the 26th poster gets banned.

Also, since this is the steelbook forum, I should point out that there's a contest going on where the mod who dishes out the most bans throughout the summer wins the Iron Man Futureshop exclusive steelbook.

I would think the point of this site is to have as many members as possible, not to weed them out, especially helpful members like rickah.

That is the point of this site. No one is weeding anyone out.
Titan pretty much explained the whole situation in his post.
Both Rick and Guido and good members. It is just they had complications with each other that only they can work out. I am friends with both members and value the information and input that they give us.
Again the mods in general do not have a problem with members here nor do they want them to not be here. But when things are constantly being said that derails the flow of the website then sometimes we have to put our foot down. For the most part members should be able to govern themselves without the mods intervening. And for the most part you guys do. But there are times when things get out on control and must be addressed.

That being said, lets get back on topic. Both members will be back in due time.

Rickah is one of the nicest and most mature guys on here. I'm stunned that he was banned as I wouldn't expect him to do anything such as attack people. Most of the times he's the one being attacked by trolls in threads for expressing his opinions. It's a sad day to see that the people who bullied him, myself and others in threads such as the Star Wars one are unbanned but Rickah is.

I hope he's back soon, he brings a lot of positivity and useful information to this place and I'm sad to see him being pushed out for a month.

Read Blu Titan's post above, that's all that needs to be said. He's a nice guy and I also enjoy discussing things with him, but we all have to adhere to the same rules here and he obviously wasn't an innocent party in this or wrongfully accused. The mods are awesome on this site and I'm sure they gave both of them a very long leash and the last thing they wanted to do was to ban two guys that are big time contributors on this site, but it seems to me their hands were tied and had to do something about the situation. Can we all just move on from this now?

So I opened my Noah SB. gasp....I know right as I never open my SB's.
And sat down and watched it today. Still a interesting movie to say the least.
I really wish the interior art was better then just rain haha.
Other then that, I am glad I was able to secure it.

I'll be watching it this weekend at some point. I also opened my steelbook, for not being embossed or glossy or anything special, I really like it. The rain being represented by the metal showing through gives it a cool effect.

Yeah for it not being glossy it is fine. And I agree the rain is a nice effect.
