Chanel #3's second personality Dirty Helen was so great that it made up for that disappointing, horribly written finale. Only 2 main characters died in the whole season and they were both killers. No one important died at all.

I wasn't a big fan of this show, but I agree that this ending was pretty lame.

The increasing absurdity of legal procedures was pretty ridiculous considering that up until tonight, the series was somewhat based in reality and the true identity of the tub girl was quite underwhelming.

While I thought the last episode in particular was hilarious, this ending was indeed rather "meh". This ending obviously heavily hints that the show has been canned. The other rumoured ending was probably what it whould have been if there'd been a second season.

This was the most stupid finale i have seen in a very long time. Ryan Murphy is either dumbest moron in Hollywood or he is so Full of himself. That he actually believe People would eat up such a stupid story. Yuck!

Entertainment Weekly just posted this:

Fox has not yet renewed Scream Queens for second season, and ordinarily those overnights would doom the show. Yet Scream Queens’ season 2 prospects are promising. When including DVR playback, the campy horror drama’s total viewers hit 5.1 million and its demo rating jumps to a 2.2. Plus the show gains an additional audience of 2.1 million outside of the Nielsen-measured 7-day window (mainly from streaming on Hulu and Fox Now).

I actually really liked the final two episodes. It was refreshing to not see everyone being 'Whedoned' off in a kill just for being killed deal.
The show played everything off-kilter. Everyone was a red herring, the dean had a terminator-like ability to survive.
Not sure where it'll go from here or if the ending was a dream or actually happening. If it is actually happening it is a completely different killer because the surviving killer's work was complete.
By the end of the pilot people should have known we weren't getting Harper's Island here.

I don't see how they move on from here. The show's done. The rumoured ending made much more sense, even though I would be sorry to see Skyler Samuels go. The second season turning into a Friday the 13th spoof would have been seriously awesome, but they can't do that now.

Agreed. The ending sucked. I hope it gets cancelled.

I see them probably still using the Camp motif, either with these characters or Murphy will turn and make the same actors into new characters.( he is known for randomly changing his mind)

I would be fine with this. As long as Glen Powell is back! He stole the show, for me. Very funny!

The show is far from done lol it is most likely being renewed. Did you not see the ratings I posted? If anything, fox might trim the order to 10 episodes for more of a mini series feel.

10 episodes would suit the show better. I felt that a few of the episodes this season were just filler or very boring (worst being the Dorkus episode).
