Well, in hindsight, you shouldn't have given away the DVD anthology set. But you were trying to save space and assumed that the BD set would have the correct specs. It's very surprising that not only does the BD set have messed up audio but there isn't a replacement program for it.

If it was me, I'd probably just stick with the BD set. Unless the audio is terrible, I'd still prefer the superior picture quality of the BD to the superior audio of the DVD. In other words, I'd never watch the DVD.

ya know i kindof curious about 4 film collection dvd it saying has theater and extended cut but i'm not so sure if 2.0 original corrected on theater or not


its rough trying to decide what to do i do know i can get dvd replacment for free if i decide to get superman 4 disc dvd if audio screw up on it or not
i thought i could let it slide make a copy off netflix but apprently they only have theater 5.1 audio no 2.0

nope from what i can tell same extra's there are in slim dvd's so 1st dvd set is superman theater along with extended version 2nd disc set 2 disc that has the extra's saying superman archive

eh i think i call number again sometime today and see if there is a way to get dvd with correct audio which suppose to be free anyways instead of buying 4 disc if audio screw up or not with a follow up call i assumed prob need specifications on disc then again i won't have superman expanded dvd if i go this route if don't get 4 disc dvd ya know

well apprently they were closed guess i'll make a call 1 day next week eh i might snag back superman returns dvd again if i can find a way not to get 4 disc dvd i can as far as other superman movies and cuts goes not sure i don't think should be a wise decision to try to get 4 film favorites superman movies since they are flippers


1 of the main reason's why i don't really want to get tin box again i order it back aug 25 2011 from a local bookstore though amazon which is now closes didn't notice dvd audio error was in superman the movie theater until i read it tested 2.0 audio it was mess up i actually gave that away to a friend

back on 20th 2013 i decided to order tin metial dvd anthology again and 2.0 audio was correct<-then i procede to throw away metal tin box then my crazy mind this past week thought it was a good idea sell blurays and idiot i was just gave away anthology to somebody direct tv clueless to know that bluray in boxset was mess up meh


eh going to see the grinch musical down at opryland hotel tomorrow night btw

what i was somewhat thinking about perhaps instead of getting superman 4 dvd collection order that christopher reeve superman dvd boxset

maybe richard donner cut superman 2<-i think sam goody got it not sure besides getting superman return dvd

granted that half special features will be missing from tin metal dvd box however they exist on bluray boxset

i'm not real sure just gotta look into this coming up week

Why are you thinking about getting the Christopher Reeve set over the 4-disc set? I think it will cost more money.

Also, why are you thinking about getting the DVDs of Superman 2 and Superman Returns? I thought those movies were included in the BD set you bought. Do those movies have audio issues as well?

well i always like superman returns it was 1st superman dvd that i used to own and gave it away after when i did tin metal dvd boxset

i see fye website has 1 set i can get used taxed 15.89 can always wait for a promo code and if i were to do boxset might as well get donner cut of superman 2 while i'm at it

i assuming ya not a big fan of this little idea i got eh?

No, not a fan. I don't understand the thinking behind the idea.

The Donner Cut of II should be in the BD anthology set. And would you ever watch the DVD of Returns if you have the BD?

But I do have an evil idea. You hunt down the Direct TV guy, explain the situation, and ask for the DVD set back. The worst part of all this might be that the Superman movies are available on Direct TV:

If he agrees to give it back, you'd have to meet him at BBY again to get it from him. Unless you get super lucky and it's still in his car or something. It's a pain but it would solve the problem and save you some money.

man my little town don't have a best buy hence that's why when i go down nashville or franklin tenn to see my brother i try to stop by mt juliet store or 1 down in cools spring

same goes to going up to knoxville that's why i don't have an opportunity to go there much heck don't even got a freakin target

ya see everything is connected walmart area up the hill left side is sam goody little stores like direct tv gamestop etc etc a car wash and a sonic

i do home somebody get out of sorry town lived in nashville then get to go best buy and target all the time meh

Oh, I thought you meant that you gave it to one of the Direct TV guys in Best Buy. I didn't know they had their own stores.

And these days you're not missing much by not having a Target. They've gone really downhill.

Yeah, there is definitely luck involved. But I think it's worth a shot especially if you're going to be in the area anyway.
