A*P*E 3D Blu-ray (1976) [Region A Locked]

I just got around to watching this 3D Movie. It was a truly cheesy movie but did have some good 3D effects... That's pretty much what I was expecting. I do have to say that I about lost it when the ape knocked a helicopter out of the sky and proceeded to raise his middle finger to pop the helicopter a "bird". So totally cheesy but so totally in keeping with the movie.

It's a great film to watch when one is stressed out. But it has to be seen in 3D for thats part of the relaxing factor. Also think it was intentionally made to be campy.

I went to find a copy on Amazon after the newest episode of Best of The Worst hit the 'nets, and A*P*E has been out of stock since Tuesday. Is this release out of print or is this normal when RLM highlights an older movie?

I recently picked this up cheap second hand, and blimey is it a bad film. I often like cheesy bargain basement films (I'd not long wached The Bloody Ape before this), but this one was a hard slog to watch. At the end of one shot the director can be heard shouting 'cut', and there appears to be a fly on the lens in one of the shots. I was abit baffled by the text of the opening credits being only in the one eye as well, which caused me some eye strain.

Very impressive 3d though, I wish all the 70's/80's 3d movies looked this sharp.
