Default New trailer

A new trailer has been released (not officially though) for Titanic's 25th Anniversary re-release.
Apparently, it's playing in theatres before "Avatar: The Way of Water", but it didn't play on my screening.

I had Disney Netherlands on the phone the spokesman was not allowed to comment on Titanic on 4K Blu-ray.

The plot thickens.

Yep going by the YouTube trailer and no matter how bad the bit rates are in YouTube, it can still be considered as a guidance.

The Bluray is beautiful at least.
I got the UK fat set. It's worth every penny and it can be had for cheap. I remember paying £6 on eBay.

If a 4K 3D HFR disc format does get made, I am hoping that the 3D HFR version with DNR is included as the main disc and in open matte 1.78:1. However, a 4K 2D disc will also be included that has no DNR, has the original theatrical 5.1 mix, and is in 2.35:1 CinemaScope.

In the US the distribution handles Paramount, in the Rest of the World its Disney/20th Century Studios.

Paramount does better 4K Discs and transfers then Disney most of the time

What is the source of those screen captures?
Does not look like even commonly reintroduced post filtering film grain.

Looks like AI upscaling dithering noise that I presume is an artifact of the process which also serves to hide some of its sins.

Exactly what it seems like to me, some AI juju. Still, as hinky as the 'grain' looks there's still some texture-like stuff and some stunning detail there, I'd take that for T2 right about now! I've said it several times that T2 looks like they attempted to do all these things like degraining and uprezzing, but they used the dollar-fifty version of those processes which is why it looks so shite.
