I think these are shipping from Grindhouse Video. He mentioned doing the shipping this week on the weekly stream this past Sunday.

-To clarify, I don't mean they are selling them at the store, just that it sounded like he was handling the shipping of the discs and posters for the label putting it out.

Default Delayed !!!

Phooey, Just got this email. (Sorry don't know how to upload images)

Ignite Films
We have all our elements in place and delivery is set to start soon however there will be a slight delay due to supply chain issues in the UK, resulting in a shipping delay of approximately 10 days until our discs arrive in the U.S. We’ll provide a firm shipping date next week.

Thank you for your patience and support. We're so excited to get these discs in your hands.

Thank you for sharing this, bogies4.
I was about a half hour from placing an order but don't see any reason to now.

I checked my e-mail also and got the same thing. Why are there supply chain issues? Didn't they get the memo from Biden that the pandemic was over? Very disappointing news indeed for the price they are charging. This may be my only purchase from this company. If all their elements are "in place" the discs should be in the US by now. Someone dropped the ball.

It's a delay of approx 10 days, not a couple of months.
I doubt Ignite Films, have the power to solve a supply chain issue, due to the strikes in the UK.

Lots of businesses are affected by this. Not just Ignite Films.

Sad over a 10 day delay? Where have you been for the last couple of years?

We'll see if its 'only' 10 days. From my life experiences, an announced 10-day delay in this world actually usually ends up being 20/30 etc. We'll see.

Well, they covered themselves by saying approx ten days so I would not be surprised if it becomes a two week delay or more. Not a good start and fails to give me confidence in this company. Keeping my fingers crossed they actually get this out sooner. They sure took our money fast enough.

To the guys blaming Ignite over the delay, have a word with yourselves. The UK is going through massive disruption due to Royal Mail strikes.

It’s taken 69 years to get here, two weeks delay is nothing.

What is nothing for you means something else for me. I'm a senior in poor health on a fixed budget. These mitigating circumstances should have been factored in when promoting these sales. These are planned postal strikes on 30th September and 1st October 2022.

How any of that has anything to do with this delay is beyond my comprehension. You won’t be Ignites only customer suffering personal hardship, so why act like you are? Also, this isn’t some massive conspiracy against you, they didn’t do it on purpose. Do you actually read what you type before sh*t posting?

Do you even have a clue about how releases are cobbled together. Everything is booked in as a job, they have a time slot and companies have a schedule. But yeah you’re right. Ignite should have grabbed their crystal ball to foresee what was going to happen with Royal Mail, taken you into consideration and jumped the queue.

As much as you might like to blame them for your troubles, it ain’t their fault. This mindset is as pathetic as the guy that said if there were disc pressing issues at the plant it would be Ignites fault too.

Grow the fu*k up and stop whinging like a privileged child. If you don’t want to wait, cancel your order.

I passed too even though I desperately wanted it. You got to draw the line somewhere and I will just have to wait for a better price.
