JJ you have a Marantz receiver right? are you using audyssey? i heard when using dts-ma, and dolbyTrueHD audyssey doesn't get used?

I'd get the wire-molding strips to conceal the wires for the surrounds....... no clear tape

Honestly. Clear tape is my friend,

I just can't...bring myself to spend anymore until next year. At least 2 months of self-control.

But with that in mind, I am planning a major decor/cleanliness/wire overhaul during my Winter break in december. I need to clean my set-up...up. lol.

I found this at Wal-Mart yesterday, couldn't pass it up. Decent frame, solid poster, 16"x20" - $5.00! Five! Who am I to say no to that?! I have nowhere to put it yet, but how can I resist that?!

Geez. One of my female accompanients (is that even a word? In spanish it is. Dang english language.

) called my speakers "sound boxes" - she was forced to make me a sandwich to make up for ineptitude. Also finally demonstrated the system to my father, who welled up with tears of joy. Of course, now I can't get him out of the house when he passes by my house on the way back to his from work. But without him, I never would be where I am now, nor even into this hobby. So, of course he's welcome.

In any case! I found a spot for the Joker frame back there, just spent the past hour cleaning up the living room - vacuum, tile polish, Windex, and Pledge. Nothing like the smell of cleanliness and neatness!

On another note, Philips finally sending me my second replacement TV tomorrow. Hope its better than this garbage first one they sent me.

Long story, Rayden. Sometime in June, my LCD developed clouding on the corners of the screen (where it shows a much lighter shade of black for some reason). Philips had it go and get a replacement panel, but after 3 weeks, the service company told me Philips no longer made the panels so I just took my TV back. Somehow the clouding had fixed itself! So I was content with my original TV.

Damn that's messed up!!! Talking about poor customer service: refurbished TV!!! What kinda **shoo-shoo-flu** is that!!!! Phillips should know better than that.

They should! At least they treated my first complaint quickly and actually gave me a replacement TV.

And, look what I found at Blockbuster for $15! 24"x36"! Framed, too! And I don't know if it's painted or printed, but it damn sure looks painted. Now to find a spot for this one, too!

Last one though. If it doesn't fit cleanly, I'll move it into my pool room.

EDIT: Found a place for it! Moved the signs that were on the wall flanking the lamp on top of my TV and panels on my main wall, moved the bullfighting frame there, and where the bullfighting frame was, put the Return of the Jedi frame. Room now looks very decor-complete, my housemates remarked.

So...random update! New pictures since I redid some of the decor, and spaced out my furniture a few inches, cleaned up a bit, and brought out the fronts to 9" from the wall.
