Just bought Minions the Rise of Gru 3D and The Bad Guys 3D from amazonUS.

Had to buy amazon gift cards to be able to buy them as I'm not able still to generate virtual payment cards. A bit over €118 compared with more than €150 is money saved.

Watched Space Station. Awesome 3D and very good movie. Why can we all get along in space, but at home nothing but problems.

Well, I just got through watching "Crime Squad". It is obvious both the series and very nice four disc set were labors of love for Andrew Murchie and his very small crew.

Very good remastered 3D, exceptional considering original filming was done on a virtual non-existent budget. All remastered episodes are on the first disc. Two more discs consist of interviews, how they worked with limited resources, location information, kickstarter updates and out takes. There was also an extra feature "Jimbot 2000 vs Andrew Murchie" which was quite funny in its own right. The fourth contains anaglythic versions of each episode

Glad Andrew reached his Kickstarter goal and hope sales from this helped generate enough revenue to support future endeavors.

Watched the Criterion release of Wim Wenders’ Pina. Loved it. Many won’t. It’s an art film featuring dance performances. For some, it won’t be their thing. (I gave Leda a 5/5, so take that into consideration ) Wenders loves 3D and states in many interviews that he uses it as a tool as much as editing and lighting. The 3D here is medium/strong throughout imho (depth), with some segments being really strong.

Wenders states he was reluctantly dragged to a dance performance choreographed by modern dance pioneer Pina Bausch and it changed his life. After her death in 2009, he made Pina as a tribute to document her work and insisted on 3D to replicate his theater experience as closely as possible.

The film uses her original troupe, who are all as much actors as dancers. The performances are experimental, avante-garde and very theatrical, each telling a story, although that story may be up to the viewer to define. He also introduces some segments with a stage designer rearranging miniature scenery elements in model dioramas as a segue to the performances themselves, which looks pretty cool. I found the performances mesmerizing, and even frightening at times. Some of the 3D visuals, especially with water involved, are fantastic. The Criterion 3DBR includes a beautiful thick booklet introducing the dancers and exploring Wenders’ and Bausch’s thought processes. Many of the extras are also in 3D.

Most of the shots are composed the same way the performances were presented originally, with action in the foreground, middle and background, making for great 3D. Wenders definitely knows what he’s doing with camera angles to make the most of depth. I would certainly recommend this one to dance lovers, theater lovers, or 3D lovers who just appreciate cool, sometimes bizarre visuals. 4.5/5

For me this was an interesting curio. Very well shot and the performances are energetic to say the least. It made about as much sense to me as modern art does to most people which is to say not much sense at all. But if modern dance history is your bag then you will probably enjoy this well staged and shot 3D documentary.

I still kick myself in the nuts for not buying this for 5$ last year at one of my dollar shop. thinking it'd be another boring dance movie. never seen it after that.

Watched Big Hero 6, great movie and very good 3D, not to be missed!

Edit: Yeah it was stored right next to BFG, in alphabetical order.

I have been binging on 3D movies before I get back to work after a nice long holiday break and so far I have watched...

Minions: Rise of Gru
Book of Life
Coco
Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters
Pan
Alice Through the Looking Glass
Jurassic World Dominion
The Mummy
Boss Baby 2
Kong Skull Island

I enjoyed all of them except Boss Baby 2 which I found quite annoying... I think the writers had way too many stimulants before penning the script for this sequel and I couldn't sit through all of it unlike the first one which wasn't too bad and had pretty good 3D....

The 3D standouts for me were Pan, Hansel and Gretel and Alice TTLG which all had spectacular 3D...congrats to the stereographic teams responsible for producing such great work in these movies.

Just got "BoxOffice 3D".

Very pleasant 3D which certainly made the viewing experience more enjoyable. Nice depth and picture detail. Some gags done specifically with 3D in mind.

Don't understand why this Italian satire on movies got such bad reviews. Despite some cheesy moments it was clever and quite funny. Reminded me of the old Second City TV program.

Region B with English subtitles. Recommended.

I've actually sat down to watch a 3D movie rather than spend hours tinkering with my set up. Yay! Today was Prometheus. Top tier 3D, reference picture quality and excellent audio helps to make this a very enjoyable movie to watch.

Watched Ready Player One. This movie doesn’t get much love, but I like it and the 3D is very good. Also a good soundtrack. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved this film; the brilliant

reference out of the blue really put it over the top for me. And the 3D, though it could have been a little stronger, was solid and well utilized. One of Steven’s finest hours.

I must confess, I’m way too old for a lot of the video game references, but I do remember Atari.

Just put a brief review on the 3D Facebook group + started a thread for this one.
I was thrilled to find a native 3D film i hadn't heard of yet, I'd previously mistaken this for a German autoconversion when I came across it on Amazon.de.
The movie is assuredly low budget, it's not that great, lots of familiar Hollywood tropes... tough guy, wanna-be tough guy, badass hot chick, annoying girlfriend etc.
It does feature a few actors from other films/ tv (perhaps most notable being Kyra Zagorsky from the sci-fi series Helix).
The 3D is really decent, mostly strong, you even get a few pop-outs of a plane slowly flying towards & out of the screen.
Worth checking out!

I bought another copy of Guardians of the Galaxy just to get the slipcover, it was my only bare MCU title. I still technically need 3D slipcovers for Doctor Strange and Spider-Man Far From Home but I have 2D ones for those which will do in the meantime...
