I have not heard of Will Rogers State Beach I don't think. I'm not familiar with it so I'll have to Google it. I'm more open to the idea of leaving California than I have been in the past, but it is a special place. Certainly not perfect but I appreciate what it offers.
I could have seen myself moving to Boston 20+ years ago. While I didn't see a whole lot of the city, that 1999 trip made quite an impression on me.

Biltmore is a must see attraction for sure. There is nothing like it in the US plus all the movies that were filmed there over the years.

Will Rogers is on the PCH so it would be a nice drive. I’ll get out there one of these days. I also want to see the Queen Mary in Long Beach.

Being in the mountains for a few days has me putting a couple new things on the wishlist. Besides a tent, I should look into getting a pair or two of hiking pants and I should probably look into getting a drone.

I actually had never hiked in the previous 5 trips I made. I would just bike and enjoy the views. I did do some kayaking on one trip last year. This first hike was a nice easy one but I ended up turning around sooner than I would have. The trail was quite narrow at points with my legs making contact with the bushes on the side. That's not really an issue but I am worried about ticks. I don't know if there were any ticks up there just waiting to jump off onto my legs but I didn't want to chance it.

I'd love to have a drone and shoot incredible footage and upload it to YouTube but I've had a GoPro for a year and a half and I've never used it so I couldn't see myself really using the drone that much. But I was out for an early morning walk and I was talking to this guy about a hill I wanted to try climbing someday. He had mentioned using a drone to see the top (or as close as he could) and that made me think that it would be cool to have a drone for reconnaissance purposes. If I'm unsure of a trail or an obstacle, I could send the drone up.

Also, I want a cruiser bike. I've mentioned that a number of times. I'd really like a dual sport bike as well. Without having a truck and trailer, I couldn't haul a dirt bike but if I had a street-legal dirt bike (dual sport), I could ride legally to the various trails and go off-road from there.

Mum says the Internet providers told her we've already used up our 100 GB for the month. I smell BS, think she needs to get an unlimited provider.

It may be 50 still be I consider anything that's not unlimited to be a rip-off. Even if it's 50 it's been out since yesterday morning and I've been streaming almost exclusively from my phone's data so I smell BS. Time for bed, I smell more posting sprees at Anytime in my future! Starlink is $120 a month, that'd be something to discuss with the parents and then maybe split it or something.

Just got back from Costco but I do not recommend going on a Saturday.
Picked up some kimbap. It better be good! The one at Trader Joe’s is great.

Paused Legend (gangster film) and thinking I might call it a night and get some rest before work. I was feeling a bit more tired just about 10 minutes ago but now I'm feeling more awake. Maybe I'll continue with the film a bit further. This is my second viewing. I'm maybe 15 or 20 minutes in I'm guessing.

Thinking about how I'll be watching the Cowboys' first game of the season on my phone tomorrow, definitely need to take my phone stand along to make the experience a bit more tolerable.
