I wish there was a private match crucible mode so that way I could just kill my friends. Like I said, I've tried using a sniper rifle/shotgun. It's not easy at all. In fact, I'm back down to 4% as we speak. I appreciate any help.

My first Iron Banner experience went well. I got all three of my chars to Rank 5 and got a crap ton of weapons, armor, & ghosts.
Like 6 Colovances, 7 Bretomarts, 8 Helmets, 15 Class Armors, 335 & 334 Ghosts, and other asst. stuff.
Pretty fun but very repetitive.
Got a 335 Jade Rabbit with my last 3 of Coins this morning.

I was able to score a 334 helmet, a 332 scout rifle, a 334 bond, and a 333 machine gun so far.

Damn, too bad they don't bring back Sparrow Racing for you guys!
I finished the Last Word part of the quest without ever setting foot in the Crucible. You just equip the Last Word while racing and you get credit for kills when you race.

Yeah, I checked your game stats and it looks like you were playing pretty good. It's hard when a couple of the other guys on your team have really bad games.
But I was that guy a bunch of times over the past few days, too.
I started off on my Hunter on Tuesday and won the first 10 out of 11 games. I thought, "Wow, this is pretty easy!"
Unfortunately, the rest of the games after that were more losses than wins.
Still fun though. Would love to enter it with a few more guys on my team that I could communicate with better.

I def prefer control over clash. Much easier to work as a team w/o even trying since the objective is more obvious. I started to run w/a group after the 1st couple of matches just to try and get a #'s advantage if we happened across anyone.

Trying to get the First Curse quest is tougher than I expected, too! It's quite the grind...

Good to know some things will never change in this game.

Need a 335 heavy to be 335. Out of all the weapons I raked in 5 were heavies. 3 IB machine guns and 2 zombie apocalypse from crucible rank ups. Alllll 334

after we finished off our PoE last night, I ran 3 Iron Banner matches. did a little better this time around......won all 3. only about 300 points into rank 3 though.

got a 2nd 334 bond though.

when does the rest take place?? I work from home now and have never been home on a Tuesday reset. did it happen last night or is it coming yet??

just wondering if I'd be able to play on my 1st break in about 2 hours.

Iron Banner is done but the reset usually happens around 3am Pacific time if I recall correctly, and that's when things reset so you should be able to see changes with a new Nightfall and CoE, etc

Next Tuesday the challenge mode will be the Warpriest and it'll drop you a guaranteed 335 heavy. We can probably find a checkpoint fairly easily and knock it out in like ten minutes.

Right on! Good to hear that you ended up winning a few near the end.

I started using a Hacksaw that I had stashed in my Vault with Hidden Hand, Perfect Balance, & Rifled Barrel and played well with it.

After the fireworks last night, I played 6 matches and went 10-7 16-4 18-9 27-12 16-8 16-7 with it. Ironically, we only lost the match where I had 27 kills!?

I'm pretty sure that fireteams are still allowed in classic rumble....

I believe this is true but only fireteams of three. You could do six before TTK came out. It's still semi-useful if you're trying to boost something in crucible.

I just googled it. In classic year 1 rumble, you can only have a fireteam of up to 3 people. So I would need 2 fireteams of 3. They say the 2 people that live closest to each other should be the fireteam leaders. Have everyone in a party chat, and both fireteam leaders would hit "start" at the same time to make the matchmaking work.

Indeed! I believe I recall helping you and someone else with a Crucible quest step that way, and it worked out just fine, then as a courtesy, allowing the other guys to get a few free kills, since we crapped on their match.
