Ah, right, you guys that didnt take the 8 month hiatus I did dont need em...I'm not even 335 on any character yet, nor do I even have 2 exotic shards to my name. I'm dying out here.

I am doing the same this time around as well.

I doubt it'll happen for the expansion like it did for this last update, but it couldn't hurt to hold onto them, especially if you already have everything you want.

It's actually not that bad. At least it wasn't for me. You could always load into year 1 rumble with a friend or two. That way you always have at least 2 people that are easy kills for you. And remember, you don't need heavy ammo to use the sword. The hilt takes two swings for a kill. If you need help, let me know.

I finally got it done on all 3 characters. Did it on Mayhem Clash which helped speed it up. Now onto finding the materials which will be a grind I'm sure.

Unless they patched it, if you were working on all three swords simultaneously, you could give them all to one of your guardians and the crucible kills would count toward the quest for each one of them...so you would only need to get the kills once.

This weekend I'm not available

I'm camping up to Taos, NM this weekend so I'll be gone. I did log in super early this morning and bought about 9 packs of 3 of Coins so I can distribute among my Guardians.
I'm one short of the calcified fragments, and turns out I'm missing that one fragment on my Warlock, yet my Titan found that fragment I'm missing, but it's Fragment xiv located in the Dreadnaught.
If I do happen to log into Destiny on Sunday night, I still have the Oryx checkpoint on my Hunter, so if anyone wants the checkpoint or run the raid from there, I can try to get on that Sunday night or Monday before the reset.

So my little brother had my name in our Xmas exchange this past year. He ordered my gift but didn't have it when we opened gifts. Well it finally showed up!!'

I had to rig it up with fishing line so the zombie apocalypse hangs off his back.

I haven't really played since SRL, but saw the new Triumphs. I've already done 3/8, with the remaining being 50 fragments, exotic blade (I'm on last step lol), PoE (which I've never done haha), quests and hard raid.

Of the two quests, one of them seems to be PoE, so that makes that easier. How hard would these be? I reckon the raid challenge modes would be most time consuming for all of those fragments I'm missing (16/50).

Yeah the fragments are going to be the most time consuming triumph to complete.

I'm trying to decide how much effort I want to put into the year 2 accomplishments.

I have 2 fragments left. an exotic sword quest. the big crucible quest.

and then the April quests.

the crucible stuff is what would take the longest for me.

haven't looked at that big quest too closely, just kind of glanced at it.
