So much for a longer running time equating to a better film.

And Goldfinger was 104 minutes.
I think die another day is very good and a view to a kill is not bad either.
Goldfinger is 110 mins

My bad on the Goldfinger runtime.

Got high hopes and awful theme song notwithstanding I like what I see .
Should be an EPIC bond film
If you're only talking about Craig's films then you're right. But for the series overall, runtime and quality have no correlation. The early Connery films are among the shortest and best films in the franchise.

This film was originally seen for advice in an unfinished version. The company was advised it was likely to be classified 15 but that their preferred 12A could be obtained by making reductions in a scene of violence and in another scene showing the aftermath of a violent act. When the film was submitted for formal classification, acceptable reductions had been made in both scenes and the film was classified 12A.

Let's hope we get a 15 rated Blu-Ray release like Casino Royale

A View to a Kill is one that I like for no real reason, it has everything I dislike but I still really dig it.

But yeah, Die Another Day is the only Bond film that is actually garbage imo.

Incidentally, Goldfinger is the shortest of the original four, but also the worst (still great though). Not that I share chris's fanatic devotion to the runtime = quality theory, but it's not completely wrong.

I doubt it'll happen mate. It's not the finished film that was cut and sometimes this "advice" is carried over into the final edit of the film regardless of territory, unlike CR which initially got a number of different versions worldwide (three I can think of off the top of my head).

The previous tweets appear to be jokes. Not sure I'd take it seriously. Will find out on Monday anyway. Hoping for the best.

Yeah, unlike the crossed lines with the now-infamous Craig interview that clearly appears to be a set of jokes. Although the last one could legitimately be from after he'd watched the movie, in which case YAY! I loved Quantum of Solace, more than bloody Skyfall anyway.

The reviews in the Guardian are much more positive but contain a lot of spoilers.
