Obviously this would never happen now, but I would have loved to see a final trailer, with Michael Buffer announcing both Godzilla and Kong. Just show video of each fighting from prior movies (in this universe), while stating their height, weight, and notable wins (even some via folklore). Have the trailer end with his tagline, "Let's get ready to rumble", while showing Godzilla and Kong charging towards each other. Give this the heavy weight boxing promotion a fight like this deserves. Maybe even have a notable fight promoter talking on behalf of their client.

These new theatrical posters are GORGEOUS. But as a collector of original movie posters I'm kind of disappointed that most of the marketing so far has been for the Chinese market since many U.S. theaters are closed or still operating at a significantly reduced capacity.

I guess Warner is looking to cut marketing and advertising costs to theaters/transit stops/malls since they're betting heavily that the majority of people will be seeing this on HBO MAX.

The only official U.S. poster I'm aware of is Kong on the mainland behind the skyscrapers looking out into the ocean as Godzilla's dorsal fins break the surface. It's fine but pales in comparison to the China posters. I hope the U.S. gets a few more.

I know! I hate how much I know about this movie. I'm trying to avoid spoilers, but they keep showing up!

Honestly I'm not worried too much about the plot points, just some dinosaur on monke violence!
