If you have to change TV settings to watch a disc, it is a poor disc....

No way around it.

We keep dancing around the simple fact that this 4K HDR transfer is NOT mastered properly....

Now everyone can keep attacking me because Mann can't be wrong and I'm not a director....

Since this is a Disney release do you have to crank the volume up to 190 to hear it?

When he picked up some stuff in a hardware store in the beginning of the movie?
Yeah, saw it on LD the first time some 25 years ago. But I always wondered what it was or what happened to him...

It’s to do with a broken arm he sustained when filming The Doors (just Google “Val Kilmer elbow”

Edit: Just read a few posts back, that he had broken his arm filming The Doors. Never had a broken limb myself and didn't know it could look like THIS...

I had the exact same thing on my elbow (visually) as Kilmer on the photo above. In my case it wasn't a broken arm. I just hit my elbow and got bursitis. Nothing really terrible. Arm is fully functional and just takes a week or two to cure.
