I recently watched IMAX Space Station which feels like an extended (and more immersive) version of the Gravity Space Station scenes. Very impressive how they use 3D to make you feel part of the crew.

3D is stellar on this one. saw it at IMAX on press release then bought it. story is weird and left to nowhere though. what's in the ******* bag !

Just ordered Weltnaturerbe Hawaii (World Heritage) Hawaii - Hawaii Vulkan-Nationalpark. Got great 3D reviews. It's About The Big Island (one we had not visited).

Finally got hold of Zombie Toxin, took me three attempts.

I got a dispatch notice for my first order from Germany but as that was a used copy I thought I'd get a new one via US Amazon just in case. When I checked up on the progress of the German one I was surprised to see that my order had been cancelled. The US one was coming from France with a ridiculous two month delivery window. It never arrived.

For a few weeks I was going mad trying to find ways to get one of the only other available copies out of Germany but it popped back up on Amazon and now I finally have it.

I only got it a few hours ago so haven't had time to check it out.

I am not expecting it to be a good film but the 3D is native at least so that's why I wanted to see it.

Tried to buy this one twice on ebay, but both orders were cancelled and refunded by the sellers. They apologized and said oops, out of stock. Looks fun, but I’m not really into it enough for an extended quest. Let us know what you think!

Watched Jupiter Ascending. Movie is a lot better than the reviews and it has good 3D and an outstanding Atmos track.

As with John Carter (and the Princess of Mars), I can’t fathom the hate for this film. I think it’s excellent, and the 3-D conversion is very well done. A must-own IMO. My second fave Wachowskis film after Bound.

Having now watched Toxin 3D, I wouldn't recommend spending a lot of time or money hunting it down. It's super cheap and while there is some pop out, it's more by accident than design so the 3D is nothing special. Some of it looked converted to me, some of it looked good.

The film itself was fun in a low budget running around in the woods kind of way, I enjoyed the lead actor's Clint Eastwood impression but there was actually very little zombie action and I doubt I will rewatch the film any time soon.

Todays arrival from Japan. Glad to have these titles now, for a very good reduced price. Beowulf 3D is out of print in Europe, so there are only unbelievable crazy prices for this now on Ebay. Combined order with Guardians Vol. 3, but they splitted it into 2 packages. So another package will arrive next week, to complete a wonderful 3D movie trilogy

You must have made a concerted effort to get all of these.

Finally finished that nearly 12 hour, 26 episode "Water Life - The Cradle of Life" (Water Life Wasser - Die Wiege des Lebens) from 2011.

Though I own a collection of similar type documentaries, this series obviously contains a lot of information, much of which is unique thus not causing this marathon to simply be repetitious in terms of information and photography. Overall 3D experience was quite pleasant with many a shot looking fantastic despite limited depth due to no protrusion beyond the screen. Excellent picture detail and color saturation.

Region B with English 2.0 audio from Germany. Four disc set.

Today watched "Kaluoka'Hina Das Zauberriff (The Enchanted Reef), a 2004 animated German release.

Despite indicating the running time as 45 minutes, in reality it's only 32.

Touted as an educational tool for children, there is little in terms of a learning experience. And to be honest, its overall boring with no real plot. But for the 3D enthusiast, a nice addition to one's collection. Excellent 3D with nice depth and beautiful color saturation. DTS master audio takes advantage of all five channels though voice level could be louder (it's equally balanced on all five speakers).

So recommended for the 3D collector if can find it cheap. All region with English audio.
