I can't do a lot of the low-intensity ones, either. Couldn't do soaring. I can't even do Pirates of The Caribbean. That little dip and darkness is too much. I'm a real fraidy cat. I still ride some stuff though. I love It's a Small World and Runaway Railway.

I get nauseous on rides! I see I'm running 12 miles on Sunday and the cowboys play Thursday night so I will try to pick up a shift for this Sunday.

Just following a plan for next month's Minnesota 50K run. Bandaids aren't sticking to my heel for some reason so I will need to go get gauze pads and medical tape after my shift.

The POTC at Disneyland actually features two drops!

Runaway was fun until it broke down. I still need to experience the entire ride. They gave me a free fastpass but not for that ride.

We're in that transition period between swelter and comfy nights, which I love. The change of seasons is a blessing. Couldn't do the "hot all year long" thing. Not crazy about the shorter days, though. The moment it gets dark I start yawning.

Get one of those lights you can strap onto your head. I’ve seen some drivers use ‘em at UPS. Wouldn’t surprise me if you already have one for running.

Definitely considering it, the van lights aren't very effective. Trying to think of a way to cover the gauze i put on my heel while I take a shower.

Accidentally slept in, thankfully wasn't late for work - but I wish I could have stayed asleep.

Caught a mouse last night around 3am but wasn’t gonna “shock” my system by dealing with it. Put it out this morning on the deck. Was gonna throw it out with the trash, less than 5 mins later he was gone. Maybe a squirrel or chipmunk got him? Took a walk around the yard and nothing. At least he’s out of the house.

I don't ride the one at Disneyland. I learned my lesson on Pirates at Disney World. I also learned never to trust my younger sister. She said it was like It's A Small World. And she knows how I am about rides. Runaway Railway is great. You've got to ride it.

I don't mind it. And I have to take a bus. It means cooler weather and more enjoyable times outside. It's hard for me to fathom that it's still light out at 8:00 pm. I prefer the earlier night times. Though I do wish it was more like 6:00 instead of 5:00.

I slept in and may take a nap later on. I don't have to go to work today. I've got a dental appointment at 11:00 and then I'm running errands with my oldest sister. I've got to set up a Charles Schwab account with money from my dad's estate. It's not much though, as me and my oldest sister got the shaft while the other siblings got a LOT more (long story)
