There are many movies that can be enjoyed in 2D or 3D (despite what @The13thman says ). But The Great Wall is not one of them. A must for any 3D collection.

Hi cdx47,

If by that you mean the Great Wall can be enjoyed in 2D, then I agree - as long as one hasn't seen it in 3D first.

Nope. You missed a word. I've clarified the OP.

I liked the movie, although definitely better in 3D!

Excellent 3D (some 2D too), very informative IMAX documentary filmed by astronauts on 3 shuttle missions to the Hubble. Recommended if you don’t get freaked out by the vastness of space. 4/5

I read the reviews and know it's mild 3D BUT the story is ok for me. I remember the ladies were hot also when I saw it many years back so there's that.

With all these floodings being reported, I thought I'd watch Bait.

Bait. Strong. Lots of pop outs and nice depth. That's how it should be. The ladies are beauties as well.

Still in mood for 1 more viewing -- which would it be -- Pompeii or Dredd?

Pompeii. Strong. The pops were the ashes and smokes. It was glorious to see them. They may not be definitive pop-outs but they were there. And that shot of the smoke rising up from Mt. Vesuvius was a cinematic feast for the eyes. The entire movie was done very artistically which raises 3D enjoyment.

Movie. Less is more on this one. The plot is simple but the drama, conflict and danger kept me engaged and drawn in. I think Kit and Emily have a good chemistry here. It's good the film makers did away with but just one gladiator battle as we've seen some movies of those already. It really puts the explosion of Mount Vesuvius at the forefront with wonderful CGIs.

Every time I have a look at this movie, it moves a little further down my "to watch" list. Maybe I'm being a little harsh based on very little, but it looked like Gladiator lite.

It does look like it has the hallmarks of a CW show, and there's a "curse" on all the actors from Game of Thrones...

Maybe "Gladiator lite" wouldn't be a bad thing? I liked Gladiator a lot, but if a "lite" version lacked the Oscar Bait ending then that could be interesting.

Still, a schlocky 3D flick at borderline bargain bin prices on Amazon seemed like enough of a "why not?" that I've now added it the collection.

Just watched Guns 'N Roses Appetite for Democracy.

Outstanding 3D and picture quality enables one to experience the energy of Axl Rose and GNR in a manner that cannot be achieved seen flat. 3D definitely makes the concert come alive with electricity within the confines of one's home theater room.

A must for any rock fan and lover of 3D.

Hey Joe, where you goin' with that Guns 'n' Roses in your hand..?

Agree, a great show and great 3D experience. I'll go one further with one of my least popular opinions (among many): Chinese Democracy is not only my favourite GnR album, but one of my all-time favourite albums. Like I say, not a popular opinion!
