Facebook marketplace is how I did it, mailed out one batch and physically delivered the other two.

Was at the mall so I went into a Gamestop for the first time in a while. It was probably 20% video games and 80% clothes, action figures, stationary figures, artwork, cards (Pokemon and such), so much Star Wars stuff, so many Funko Pops.

I could have bought Dish Network from EchoStar for one dollar like DirecTV did. I can't front the $9.8 billion in debt DirecTV had to assume from Dish Network, but I had the one dollar.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. I do wonder... how much longer will they be in business.

Thankfully the offer expired this morning.

The seller has major issues. He actually did finally respond but not until late last evening and I just ignored him. He said he received my offer & was asking when I would pick it up even though we already discussed meeting 2 days ago.

I’m amazed he didn’t accept the offer lol. Clearly using me as a fall back option. I gave him the opportunity to lock in the deal and he sat in it.

Not dealing with shady sellers and wasting my time. Professionalism, good communication and courtesy = non existent.

Why I always look for sellers with at least 97% positive feedback and lots of it.

He actually does have 100% but for whatever reason, he’s a poor businessman which can and does happen unfortunately. I wasted half my Sunday waiting for the prick to get back to me.

If you want the sale then accept the offer lol. Freaking Mickey Mouse antics.

My most recent eBay experience was buying a below MSRP box of distance running gels. Going to eat a lot of them on the 19th and then eat the rest during normal training runs. Kinda wanted to work that 2-8 shift in Iowa City today but I'm 99% sure I know which client that is and I don't like him so it's probably better I didn't pick it up.

Supervisor just approved my pickup of an open shift for next Tuesday. So now I'm working Wednesday-Sunday then Tuesday-Friday before my cousin's wedding. Going to try to pick up a Monday or Tuesday the following week as well to make up for the 2 trips to Minnesota I'm taking this month.

Wishing my pay from my current job would be paid early with the bank's 2 day before payday thing but that doesn't seem to be a thing here. Probably because we're small.

I was going to do it with Homestretch but I don't have the card so I'll just wait till tomorrow.

Aren't video games now sold as downloads? I haven't been to a GameStop in years but last time I did buy a game was for my nephew's bday a few years ago. Was surprised to find out I only had to give him the money for it. They won't last long. They won't be able to sustain themselves on Funko Pops and apparel.

Still a good demand for physical copies - which I prefer.

Nothing like holding the thing your hands.....I am not a fan of "intellectual property"...it can be too easily "lost". Although I love AI....I use it to prepare email responses to attorneys at work all the time, it is a huge time saver.
