As groups seem to be the last place people look for information, we will still maintain interaction in this thread to some extent. However, we hope the group continues to grow and becomes more publicized. Most artists have migrated to the group and will answer your questions within the discussion posts there.

Canada bpmDesign - Analyze This & That Set

Another new one of mine, was a request on another site.

Simple and clean!

Both movies are on one disc, so a single cover was made!

Enjoy!

Analyze This & That Set

Would anyone happen to have a bunch of covers which deletes the mention of Digital Copy? As everyone might figure out I'm very anti-Digital Copy.
How about since I have the 3-Disc, with Digital Copy tossed out, for X2 already, can someone take-off the digital copy crap and put something about it containing the John Ottman score on CD as the third disc? Part of my soundtrack project. I'm glad The Dark Knight doesn't state there's a digital copy included.
BPM, would there be any possible way to assist me with the James Bond 007 MGM/FOX/EON, including NSNA, custom covers for my soundtrack project? Just let me know. I have specific ideas for them.

[Pics Deleted 2-22-10]

My next post clearly identified that these were steelbook conversions and not original artwork (not everyone had access to these steels, the art is clearly better than the original covers, and I had not seen anyone do steelbook conversions for these). They were not available to download YET.

Also I was asking for suggestions in the next post, to help me finish them up so they would be usable. Thanks to Imrahil2001 for at least reading the next post and trying to help. No thanks to everyone else that just thinks tl dr when they see a post with paragraphs.

Seriously you can't have them even if you do want them, I never got around to finishing and testing them, so they are not ready to share. They are just some quickie scan conversions from the Best Buy Steelbooks. I tried to get most of the awesome artwork included without stretching or chopping it too much (but you can tell that I did loose some of the details since the originals were about as wide as a cover insert, but like 15% too tall). I didn't use a proper template or anything so I think the spines on most are a little too narrow. I may eventually come back and finish them up, but for now I just thought I would put up these Work in Progress versions. I do plan on finishing them eventually because I would prefer not to scratch up my steels in everyday use.

Do any of you custom cover people have much interest in having art on the front and back? Or does everyone prefer custom covers to be replacements for retail cover art where it would actually have all the specs on the back? I was going to do these for the cover art and then maybe print a separate insert to put inside with all the specs and features.

Also I am not really an artist so don't make any high level suggestions. My skills consist of basic cutting and pasting, I don't even have the know-how to clean up the image scans very well (as you can tell from some of the odd coloration, especially since brushed metal doesn't scan very well).

This was my first attempt at a blu-ray cover. I know I can do better but I wanted to get an opinion on what I might be able to do differently.

its actually a very good first try jorb the only thing i think you could improve is defining the spine better cause it just looks to wide and if u put it in a case that might not be the case.....but thats the only thing other then that very good cover
