As someone who doesn't play as a marksman almost ever, I don't think the class is overpowered. When my team is lacking in quality snipers and the other team has a few it can become a major pita for me!

I think most peoples problem with the Marksman class is the fact he has access to the StA52 so basically youve got a guy whos invisable running around with an Assault rifle

Thats true... Even worse is when I find a silenced gun then it gets bad. Once I unlock that and have both a silenced assault rifle and my sniper

I don't think anyone cares. Usually when someone taunts their scores like that, you find out they're camping, boosting, or using the same repetitive and cheap tactics over and over.

When you unlock the perk of carrying an extra primary weapon you will be able to carry a sniper rifle and an assault rifle along with scramble and cloak the Marksman is a killing machine

Ya, that doesn't happen to me much. Maybe it's cause they're not too common yet (or weren't in the betas).
I dunno, each class has some pretty major bonus skills for them, I don't really consider the marksman's to be that much better than the rest.

Thats odd guess I'm the only one that can win and do that

I think it would be gloats about their score, but that wasn't the point either... It was to show that just because you have a good kdr doesn't mean you don't win... The two go hand in hand more often then not

think about it, not only is the Marksman lethal from range, which he should be , but now if you get close to him you cant see him, you cant see him on the radar and he has an assault rifle

Ya I agree it sounds bad (for us), but honestly I can barely remember being assault rifle'd by a marksman in the beta. Almost always I'm either sniped or melee'd (or killed by an uncloaked guy just running around like crazy!)

We will have to wait and see as more people rank up and unlock the perk to carry the Assault rifle i expect they will do so, i know i will

From the description it says any unlocked rifle so you'd have to assume thats any silenced weapon

Thats my last unlock for those extra perks or whatever so I'll find out probably by tomorrow how great it is

The campaign has some really nice eye candy, and is great for showcasing the PS3's power, but its a wholly missable experience. I hate games that are just filler between sequels, what a waste of time, uncharted does it right, you know, with a beginning middle and an END.


Multi is a blast though, can't wait until the patch with squad chat is out.
