To paraphrase Mondo Digital, it's revelatory compared to every release of this we've seen previously. I genuinely find it hard to believe anyone who has seen this on any home video incarnation before could take issue with this transfer. Even theatrically this film was notorious for looking bad.

finished watching knightriders last night...my first time seeing it. I really enjoyed it, in an odd way, very strange film, nice little story and some very interesting characters. Infact It could have been longer I really wanted to know morre about some of the characters.

PQ was definatly very good im looking forward to listening to the commentary, I watched the interview with ed harris which was interesting, have not watched the other two interviews yet.

very pleased with this strange but entertaining film.

Found it a little dull to be honest, I'm a big fan of horror from 70's 80's and 90's grew up on them so I'm not a kid not appreciating its old or low budget.

Knew the actors well and the director so felt safe with a blind buy, I'm fairly sure I had seen this when I was younger and IMO Sharon Stone when she was younger was hot. Love Ernest Borgnine too.

The film was dull, PQ was dull, score was dull, ending was naff story was also poor. Saying that I'll no doubt watch it again in 8 months or something and appreciate it better. Maybe knowing the story will make it a bit more enjoyable.

If it were £6 I'd say its worth a punt as everyone thinks different. But £14? No. I got this for £11 from Arrow and I'm only not overly disppointed because it wasnt terrible and I like the actors.

Slipbox copies of Black Sunday and Lisa and the Devil down to £14.99 on Arrow's site. (The normal amaray sets are £10.49 each).

There's also Camille 2000, Score and The Lickerish Quartet for £9.99 each

Bunch of forthcoming Arrow titles have also been reduced in price on Amazon, my tracking kicked in for Knightriders which is now £12.50.

As soon as Amazon gets Black Sabbath back up, I'll be placing an order.

Demons and ZFE came in cardboard mailers longer on the ends to keep the steel from getting damaged. Not sure if that's what typical steelbook mailers look like, but both of mine arrived mint

You'd be best asking Arrow directly, if noone here has them.
info@arrowfilms.co.uk

How are the deliveries from Arrow and their "dispatch company" now? better or worse?
I'd like to order Black Sunday.

I got King of New York today. Did I hear that the 5.1 soundtrack is not great?

It's simple : it's fine except when the soundtrack get busy. When it gets, the 5.1 remix gets completely muffled.

The 2.0 track is much more consistent.

On an other topic, I received my Knightriders copy yesterday in France, and it's really nice that Arrow shipped early this time (though I would have be happy with getting it only around the street date, not especially 2 weeks early, but at least not 2 weeks later like with ZFE).

However, I wanted to pre-order Lifeforce, along with Bicycle Thieves, and Arrow's website now indicates that "If you have items in your basket that are not yet released or out of stock please note that your order will be not be dispatched until all items are in stock. For this reason we recommend placing a separate order for any item on pre-release or out of stock."

I don't recall this when I pre-ordered the spring line up. Is this a change in Arrow policy ? I know they charge right at the order, but I understood they always ship the new releases once in stock, whether it has been ordered with other stuff not released yet. And this is what happened with Knightriders, pre-ordered along with Black Sabbath, Baron Blood & Foxy Brown, but shipped once in stock.

It bothers me because it means I can't go above the £50 threshold to have the free shipping. If nobody knows, I will try and email Arrow about this.

Yes. I asked them about my Knightriders order (as part of a larger order with several May-June pre-orders), and this was the response:

Due to a new procedure at our despatching company, Knightriders will be despatched to you when all the titles you have ordered have been released. There is a message to this effect when you check out on our website.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
